Have you seen Lemon Lolly?

Last week we got together at my home in South Morang,VIC for Craft & Chat on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. These sessions happen monthly, most usually on the 3rd Thursday of the month, and the Wednesday immediately before it. The card in the middle was the one made in class. It uses the alcohol- ink technique where you scribble with Stampin' Blends on to vellum in patches, then lightly spray with 100% alcohol - Diggers from Bunnings hardware is the brand available in Australia.

After demonstrating the technique for the classes I had some samples to use up, so with a little more colouring, again with Stampin' Blends, my favourite colouring tools, I put together a couple more cards. Changing the orientation of the cards was the major difference.

Pretty Hand Penned

Sometime ago I shared alcohol technique on Facebook Live and had a piece of vellum with these colours left over.

Hand Penned Petals is such a pretty stamp and die bundle, so quite simply, the flowers were die cut in white and placed to the side so it didn't cover too much of the pretty background.

Just a little stamping on the inside to finish off.

The sentiment fitted nicely on a label die from Stitched So Sweetly dies. They are 20% off 16th-18th November, but stock is low of that particular die.

It's In The Bag

Last Tuesday I shared the alcohol ink technique on my video, and also the Paper Pumpkin kit, Expressions in Color which is still in store. You can view the video where I shared a couple of cards, plus some variations, and then stamped this bag which is shown as an alternative on the included instruction sheet.

The stamping on the Ombre Gift Bags (Page 137 AC) adds a delightful background to the vellum pieces from the Paper Pumpkin Kit. They've had colour added with ink and a blending brush.

The photo isn't the greatest, but I've made a set of notecards and envelopes to place inside the gift bag. The recipient likes her cards to be without sentiments, but there are a number of great options in the kits included stamp set.
