If you live in Australia, you can join my team, the FUNdamentals. One of the great things about Stampin' Up!® is the support they give to their demonstrators, creating a lovely 'family' feel. There is no pressure to hold parties, classes or demonstrate unless this is a path you want to go down.

I began as a hobby demonstrator in February 2011 purely for the 20% discount off my craft supplies. Gradually I began to teach an occasional class, and even more gradually, to build a team. I have enjoyed my journey with Stampin' Up!® so much, it has helped me to become more confident when meeting new people, and the friendships you make along the way are an added bonus.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.What are the minimum sales requirements?

To be considered active you need to sell a minimum of 300CSV each quarter. In Australia that translates to about $495 every three months, this is retail so your actual outlay is nearer to $396 or around $132 per month average, plus shipping. You can order a number of smaller orders, or one big one and still receive your 20% discount.

YOU HAVE UNTIL MARCH 30, 2026, to spend this amount also.

2. What if I want to do this as a hobby and not necessarily a business?

Stampin' Up® supports all demonstrators, no matter what their goals or the level they choose to run their business. If you choose not to hold workshops, you can place your own orders, and/or collect orders from family and friends.

3. Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?

No. If you were to recruit demonstrators you would be paid override commissions on your team members sales, but this is a perk, not a requirement.

4. Where will I get ideas and training?

Stampin' Up!® provides dozens of training resources including youtube clips, updates via email and the Demonstrator website, and the annual and seasonal catalogues full of great ideas.

5.What if I decide I don't like it once I've started? Will I be penalised if I quit?

You may choose to stop at any time, and you will not be penalised. You simply stop placing orders. However, there are so many benefits to remaining an active demonstrator.

8.What does the Bronze title mean?

When you sign up as a demonstrator, you receive the title of bronze. Because Bronze is entry-level, there are no requirements to achieve the title. As you build your business, you can advance to subsequent titles by meeting various requirements. When you advance, a certificate will be posted to you.

You can read the agreement and sign up at the link above. Have an order ready, your credit card details, your debit/savings account information will be required for Stampin' Up!® to pay commissions to you. Any other questions? Email me rpalmieri5@bigpond.com or phone/text 0417 500 681.

CTC #539 -CASE Peaceful Garden Suite

CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

The assignment was to CASE Peaceful Garden suite which can be interpreted in many ways. You might choose the colours or a technique but as usual, I took inspiration from the sketch or layout.

The label from this suite is large enough to accommodate any sentiment, and I really liked the idea of tucking a focal point on a corner of the label. It's a good design which stands the test of time.

This sentiment is from Pine Tree Trimmings, and it doesn't use much space on the label. Some ink blending with Soft Sea Foam, softened and filled the label and I then used the same technique on the inside of that card.

After investing in a few new Christmas stamp sets I have many choices when it comes to sentiments. Words For The Season has verses for card inserts for Christmas (2), Halloween and Graduation and as it is a red rubber cling stamp in the September-December mini catalogue, it will disappear soon after that ends as Stampin' Up! ceases production of those stamps.

The circled card inspired my creations, but I simplified and altered my design. Patterned paper is easier than the water coloured background, especially if you have a lot of cards to make. The orientation was changed from landscape to portrait, and I used ribbon/twine in a different way.

This version is monochromatic and using the Peace On Earth sentiment from the stamp we are CASE-ing really filled the label much better.

The inside of this card is fairly standard with enough space for a short message to a friend.

Next you are popping over to Peta & Marvi, let's see what Peta shares this week.

Now it's your turn. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE.

Colour Creations Insta Hop - Week 21 - Flirty Flamingo

I have used a smorgasbord of stamps to create this card using Flirty Flamingo, the Colour Creations Insta Hop colour for week 21. This was mainly because I had a lot of them out, designing cards for my October classes, but this is not one for class.

Flirty Flamingo is such a pretty pink but this time I chose to use it sparingly. The grid and flower are stamped with Flirty Flamingo and they are both in Lovely Florals stamp set. It may be a set more intended for scrapbook pages with bold sentiments suitable for sub-titles, but there is always something you can use on a card as well.

The die cuts are from Just a Note (notepaper, silver bulldog clip & Flirty Flamingo heart) and Perfectly Pears (leaves and group of three flowers, die cut from patterned paper).

Peace On Earth is a stamp set from pages 32-33 of the September to December mini catalogue, but it's not just for Christmas. The sentiment on this card is also from the set and there is a sympathy stamp as well as several other mix & match sentiments.

Colour Creations Blog Hop - Week 20 - Early Espresso

Early Espresso is a lovely chocolate brown which I paired with Crumb Cake for contrast here on this card. It is a smaller card with Everyday Arches featured to display the stamped images.

Peace On Earth supplied the sympathy sentiment and all the other stamped images are from Textured Notes.

On Thursday, for one day only Stampin' Up! have a Flash Sale featuring stamps and stamp tools.

CTC #536 CASE The Mini Catalogue

It's always so exciting when you get a new catalogue in your hands and its not just new products. Catalogues are full of inspiration ranging from colour combinations, a new way to use a product and so many sketch ideas!

This week I've gone a bit rogue and very loosely CASEd a card featuring a cut out frame (negative space), a strip under the sentiment and introduced some metallic foil as well.

I will also admit that using the negative of the Mini Alphabet Dies was mentioned in a Demo newsletter recently and as I was cleaning my craft space I thought, "Why not?" It's a great idea to reuse bits.

Because it is Father's Day today in Australia, this really was a last-minute task. I used a pre-printed label from Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera pack for a quick finish. It seems all my cards lately are made in a rush.

Next on the hop is Judy May

Simply Sunflowers

There was a deadline to have one card ready for the Insta Hop on Wednesday night but the second image was stamped and just needed to be coloured and put together for tonight.

It is the same design and I did include a Cherry Cobbler apple as a nod to the Insta Hop colour this week. If it was ready in time it could have been included.

It was a surprise to me to see just how large the images were compared to the size on the stamp case. This is just one of the methods Stampin' Up! is using to prevent theft of their art work by that company which happily sells mostly pirated designs on the internet, whether it be crafting products or fashion.

I really like these images, they can be used for many different reasons (except the reindeer one I guess). They were fun to colour and the rustic look lends itself to the woody paper from Country Woods DSP.

Colour Creations Insta Hop - Week 15 - Cherry Cobbler

Rustic Centrepiece has been in my craft room for a couple of weeks but I hadn't had a chance until now to ink it up. Most likely the delivery of some pre-order goodies from the upcoming holiday mini catalogue inspired this burst of creativity and the chance to use some Cherry Cobbler DSP for the Colour Creations Insta Hop.

Pine Tree Trimmings was in Monday's delivery too providing the perfect greeting for both the inside and outside of this card. All the stamping has been done with Early Espresso to carry forward that rustic feeling.

The wood grain DSP is Country Woods, which has been with us for more than 12 months now because it is selling so well still. Perfect for these types of card and outdoor/masculine scrapbook pages.

The Cherry Cobbler polka dot paper is a 'b' side piece from Traditions of Christmas DSP. The other side has lovely softly coloured flowers and gold foil. but this side was perfect for my rustic card.

Happy crafting, and I will be back on Friday night with another card created from this stamp set.
