Expressions In Color Alternatives

Expressions In Color Paper Pumpkin has made it's way to the Clearance Rack and you can pick up a box of goodness for $18.50!

There is a LOT in these boxes, including cards and envelopes, a stamp spot, or two in the case of this particular box, and a very useful stamp set. Would this be a good gift for someone on your list? How about holiday crafting?

The vellum flowers and words in this one are a bit special, and this stamp set co-ordinates rather nicely with the Expressions In Ink suite on page 96-97 of the Annual catalogue.

Once I'd made up one of each of the cards according to the instructions, I had a play, mixing and matching with other supplies on hand. The card on the left has been made with Fresh Freesia card stock, a strip of the PP card, the embellishments in the PP pack, some reversed to show the white side and Sunny Sentiments, another stamp from the shelf.

The card on the right has some of the Expressions In Ink SDSP over one of the Bumblebee cards from the Paper Pumpkin kit, and then decorated with twine, ephemera and label from PP.

A Soft Succulent card base for this one, along with some embossed card and a die cut leaf.

Then it was time to bring in the Artistically Inked stamps, and use a Paper Pumpkin base to make the card.I diecut a vellum flower with the Artistic dies for a little extra fun!

Even the stamp set alone is probably worth the $18.50 they're charging for the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Here is one of the vellum flowers, tinted with ink and a blending brush, decorating a gift bag.

These notecards are inside the bag. There are other bargains over on the Clearance Rack, along with the Last Chance Sale, so I recommend taking a look.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share, and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

It's In The Bag

Last Tuesday I shared the alcohol ink technique on my video, and also the Paper Pumpkin kit, Expressions in Color which is still in store. You can view the video where I shared a couple of cards, plus some variations, and then stamped this bag which is shown as an alternative on the included instruction sheet.

Expressions In Color is particularly good value, with 2 ink spots and the makings for 9 cards. This link will take you to my online shop where you can order this kit and other supplies.

The stamping on the Ombre Gift Bags (Page 137 AC) adds a delightful background to the vellum pieces from the Paper Pumpkin Kit. They've had colour added with ink and a blending brush.

The photo isn't the greatest, but I've made a set of notecards and envelopes to place inside the gift bag. The recipient likes her cards to be without sentiments, but there are a number of great options in the kits included stamp set.
