That will depend on how much you own already, whether you plan to go into this for an income, or as a hobby demonstrator for the 20% discount.
Stampin' Up!® welcomes all sorts of demonstrators, and while there are some who earn themselves a nice income, others purchase only for their own needs, and there are many demonstrators who fall somewhere in-between. I joined 4½ years ago for the discount, the lovely stamps and inks but found much more than that. Friends asked me to help them create cards, which developed into a regular class, and orders for their supplies, and other customers order through my online shop.
The support of my team leader is invaluable and very much appreciated. She never intrudes, but is always quick to respond if I email or text a question. She holds casual team meetings, where we use her stamp sets and learn new techniques. That is how I try to support my small team.

Stampin' Up!® friends are travelling from South Australia and Tasmania to join the Victorian event. We last met up on the Gold Coast in May, so not so long between visits! We have an online Facebook forum where we show off our creations, share accomplishments and family news. It ends up being so much more than ink and stamps!

Personally, I enjoy the friendship of a diverse group of crafters, fun social events, as well as access to an endless amount of inspiration - and quality stamps, paper and ink!

This week the CASE-ing The Catty Crew are CASE-ing the section of the catalogue titled For Baby, pages 31-38. You may be starting here with me, or perhaps you have come from Bronwyn at AddINKtive Designs .
On page 37 are six small cards, and the middle top one inspired my card. I haven't bought the featured stamp set yet, but do have Baby's First Framelits, so put the onesie die through the Big Shot, decorated it with a star from Something To Say and pulled my paper piercing tools out.
I'm really happy with the way this turned out, and just think of the different ways you can use this sketch, perhaps with flowers or a feature stamp. May I add, the thicker Whisper White card is wonderful for cards, just what we've been wanting for so long. You really must try it soon, if you haven't already.
