It has been a hectic weekend at my house with our youngest grandson turning one on Saturday and my out-of-town son travelling up to the party separately from his wife and children, as he had to leave early to work night shift back in his town. Because of that, my dear D-I-L and grandchildren stayed on here to celebrate Mother's Day together. Of course, they're quite young children, so our day began soon after 6am!!! My husband cooked a lovely breakfast for us all, and he has volunteered to do a light dinner tonight too. That's a win-win for me. Feeling tired, but happy.I've had this panel stamped and colored for some time now, and it seemed like a sweet background for the sketch at Case This Sketch. Although this stamp set, So Very Grateful, is one of last years from the Occasions catalogue, I have hung onto it, because its fun to colour. Although lots of demonstrators feel they need to cull their collections the minute they retire, I usually use them for a few more years if I've liked them.
The greeting is one I picked up for a bargain in the retiring list, it has the 'Happy Birthday', 'thank you' and a 'congrats' and was less than $18 for the three woodmount stamps. Hey You is its name if you plan on getting it before they run out.I've scattered some buttons to 'pin' the banners. The Tempting Turquoise, Hello Honey and Old Olive look good together, don't they? Very fresh.
