This baby card at right has two retiring stamps on it, which I have used such a lot. The little feet are from a set called Baby Prints, which also has hand prints and some useful words. The verse which I stamped over the footprints is from another retiring set called Cuddles & Kisses. Both stamp sets will remain on my shelves for a while longer, for sure. In the retired list online, you can buy the woodmount set for $2 less that the clear at the moment. With Cuddles & Kisses, both types of stamp are reduced, check it here. Luckily, the Alphabet Press Embossing Folder remains for the new catalogue.

The slim catalogue, Celebrate the Everyday, which was released in January will end on June 30th too, and not everything has made it into the new catalogue. If you don't want to buy now, but have your eye on something in the catalogue, feel free to send me an email to check if it will carry over to the new catalogue. You can reach me at rpalmieri5@bigpond.com and if you list the item name and catalogue number it will make it easier for me to check.

En Francais is the background stamp on this card, and it is also one of the stamps whichis meant to have sold out in woodmount. It may be the clear mount stamp here, which has sold out as I have linked to wood, and could enter it to my shopping basket. Be quick if you want this one!!!

Baby We've Grown is in the slim Celebrate the Everyday catalogue, but it also made the cut to the new annual catalogue.

Another exciting piece of news for all you "Memory Keepers/Photographers" out there. A small sample of Project Life is available for you to purchase from the online store now, with the remainder of the range to be available when the catalogue goes 'live' on 1st July.

If you'd like to buy your supplies at 20% off, have you thought about joining Stampin' Up! as a hobby demo? Ask me, if you have any questions.

I'm looking forward to sharing the NEW catalogue with you too, are you coming to my Catalogue Launch on Friday 4th July? It's basically a drop-in day, free to attend and collect your catalogue. You can check out the new colours, some stamp sets and dies, even try paper punching.

Call me 0417 500 681, or email me with your name and phone number, so I can give you a call with the address. I'm in South Morang, Victoria. I'd appreciate knowing if you're coming, and if you have a friend who'd like to come, so I prepare enough samples.

Glad you popped by
Rachel

It's A Boy! PP193 & DD100

Today started with lovely Autumn sunshine, but has become drearier as the day progressed so I do not feel guilty in the least, escaping to indulge in some card making.
This time I've gone for a baby boy card. My daughter-in-law, due to have a little boy in June, has had to stop work this week, to allow her little man to gain some weight. A work colleague, due to deliver in the same hospital as my D-I-L, same week too, is expected to finish work at the end of next week. There are others coming this year too, so you can never have too many of these cards in your stash.

I've stuck with the final colour challenge from the wonderful team at Dynamic Duos, Pool Party, So Saffron and Smokey Slate.
(Dynamic Duos design team -Please reconsider!)

I've used three Stampin' Up! stamp sets for this card and the sketch from Anne Marie The Paper Players. You must check out the design teams cards, I want to CASE everyone of them! I have to say I was glad I'd ordered the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack (130135) because I have a enormous supply of perfectly colour-matched patterned paper now. I embossed with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder (129984) and layered my strip and square of subtles paper onto Whisper White. It gave a 'cleaner' look than when I had it on the matching colour.

I used only one footprint from Baby Prints (125472 C) because two needed a larger circle or some toes were amputated! I then used Smokey Slate to stamp 'it's a boy'  from A Dozen Thoughts(131056W) , over the top and under that 'congratulations' from Cuddles & Kisses (131913). I will use a verse from Cuddles & Kisses inside too. I believe this stamp set and Baby Prints are retiring in the US, so chances are they will here too. Check them out on page 56 of the catalogue to see if you might need them.

There is an underline on the greeting, in pearls, and three to the right, as well as a loop of the retired ruffled ribbon in Pool Party.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog, leave a comment if you like,
Rachel
Exciting news!
LeAnne picked my card as a 'Cut Above' at the Paper Players! You made my day LeAnne!

Little Pink Bunny FMS 118

I have been sorting through my huge quantity of Stampin' Up! retired goodies since we returned from holiday, preparing to sell off heaps of stamp sets, paper and some ink pads etc.

However, while I slice and dice, I come across paper I loved, or hadn't noticed or .......whatever. This DSP is long retired, might have been called Nursery Nest I think. It's very sweet anyway, and I had several of the bunny stamped and cut, but not colored. She comes from Storybook Friends and has the word surprise! underneath, but that is easy enough to leave off by not inking it. The base card 'needed' something too, so I settled on the word girl, which is in the Baby Prints stamp set. A little bit of Pistachio Pudding grass from Dinoroar, and a rhinestone at the end of the wand, finish it off.

Just a very simple card, to suit the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
Thanks for passing, leave a comment if you like

Baby Cuddles FMS #117

Here I am after a pleasant little break for Christmas and New Year. I hope you have enjoyed your festivities too. I have been away at the beach, with minimal craft supplies and limited internet connection, so in many ways, it's nice to be home.
I do happen to have my very first sewing machine at the beach house, so I pulled it out to do some stitching on cards, including this baby one (the paper banners are stitched together). I had to wait until I arrived back yesterday to stamp the image and greeting. Unfortunately, it seems the subtlety of it becomes very faint in my photo. Its the two baby feet from Baby Prints, over-stamped with Babies fill your heart with happy. There are some lovely baby greetings in Cuddles & Kisses but that phrase rings so true. We have recently found out that our sixth grandchild will arrive this year, so my heart is feeling very full.

Luckily for me, Freshly Made Sketches held the sketch over for longer and I might just get linked in too!

Looking forward to seeing more of you here this year, happy crafting!
