Colour of the week is Bermuda Bay |
Hand Delivered was the first Hostess stamp set I added to my order last week. It wasn't initially a stand-out for me, so it just goes to show how seeing a few samples on Pinterest can change your mind.
I enjoyed getting it set up on the Stamparatus, and once everything was in place, I could stamp over and over. For both these samples, featuring Bermuda Bay, she wears a striped skirt. In others I've changed her skirt from stripe to floral, and instead of holding balloons and books, she holds a tiered cake.
I held back on putting my cards together until I'd received my order, so I could add the Brights Designer Series paper to the card. This year it comes in the very useable/storable 6" x 6" size, and on the balloon card are the 2 different sides of the one sheet of paper.
For the Graduate card, I've introduced a touch of red and green. The beauty of Bermuda Bay is that it seems to go with so many other colours. The skirt has been stamped to add colour, but the other colours are added using the Stampin' Blends. The first lot of colours are back in stock, and ready to be ordered, but we still impatiently (as of last Friday) wait for the lovely new shades to reach the warehouse.
So if you are hosting a party soon, or plan to place a $250 order yourself, you might like to consider choosing Hand Delivered as one of your Hostess Only special selections. I can explain this more if you get in touch with your questions.

ReplyDeleteRachel, both your cards are simply gorgeous. It's hard to pick a favourite, but if asked, I'd say the balloon one. Love them both.
