CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.
It has been quite a while since I have participated in a blog hop, but hopefully I will be able to contribute more regularly for the remainder of the year. There are a number of ways you can CASE, it may be a sketch, the colour scheme or something else altogether.
The card on page 63 inspired me, but I took it in a different direction with paper from Florals in Bloom DSP. The sentiment on the catalogue sample was a positive message, so I chose another positive one from Peace on Earth which will be available for you to order in early September.
I stamped Granny Apple Green and Petunia Pop card with matching ink and stamps from Stripes & Dots stamp set. When I ordered this stamp I thought it was a large background stamp, but I've been pleased to find they are all individual. This card was cut into banners for contrast behind the label.
The rather gorgeous two-tone Sparkle Gems add the finishing touch.
