Favourite Retiring Stamp CTC#228

Welcome back to another week of CASE-ing The Catty. The crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project. This week we showcase our favourite retiring stamp set. My pick is All That You Are.

When All That You Are didn't carry over, I was more than a little surprised. When it was released, I was happy that the flowers could be die cut with the flower from Frosted Bouquet Framelits, it's always nice when dies or punches suit more than one stamp.

Also, it's another big, beautiful blossom stamp for colouring, and I'm totally into colouring with Blends at the moment.

The 'happy birthday' sentiment included with this set is a nice compact one that fits inside the 2nd stitched circle. There are another two nice sentiments in the box too. For the lovely leafy strip I've used the Wonderful Floral Dies, which match Wonderful Romance, another super stamp, also about to retire. I'll pop it in the product list at the end too, in case you want to check it out before it leaves us.

And just for fun, I've CASEd ......ME! This Bermuda Bay card was made during SALE-A-Bration 2018, and it was a nice sketch, so I used it again.

If you'd like to join us and share your CASE on our Facebook page, you'll find the link in the graphic.

Next talented design team member is the lovely Monique Fielder, I wonder which is her favourite?

Wedding in Wollert

My weekend just past was quite a BIG one with 48 hours of baby-sitting my 2 youngest grandsons, while their Mum was Matron of Honour for her little sister, at a beautiful country-style wedding. It was wonderful to see Mel & Steve finally tie the knot, and although I wasn't able to attend the reception, due to my Grandma duties, the the boys and I were able to attend their aunty's wedding ceremony.

Wonderful Romance was my first pick for this special card and with a matching framelit, makes it a breeze to create a layered card.
This framelit is possibly going to run out before the end of the Occasions Catalogue it is featured in, due to supply issues with a few of the latest dies, so if you love it too, I wouldn't put off ordering. And ... order it as a bundle with the stamp for 10% discount off both. You will only be $2 off qualifying for a SALE-A-Bration item too, and I'm sure you need a pack of Dimensionals or liquid glue to be able to choose one of the free stamps, ribbon packs or a pack of DSP (patterned paper).

I had only just received one of the later SALE-A-Bration picks, All Adorned, and I thought the corner stamp was awesome.
The Stamparatus was a great help in placing it into the corners, although on a rectangular card front you can only stamp the 2 corners diagonally opposite before repositioning the stamp. With a square front, all 4 can be stamped without changing anything.

It seemed a good idea to keep on with the theme and stamp the inside corners and the envelope too. Never send a naked envelope, especially when you are hand-delivering!!! The colouring with Stampin' Blends was quite basic, sometimes that just lets the image do the work.

The sentiments are from my favourite go-to for sentiments, Beautiful Bouquet. This is a photopolymer stamp so you can see where you are placing the words. It has verses for weddings, friendship, sympathy and birthday, making it a well-used set. My son didn't particularly like this verse I chose for his sister-in-law, there was another possibility in the stamp set, but I thought this was lovely.

Here is a little sneak peek at my lovely boys. Can you believe that curly-haired cherub woke his grandparents every hour, until at 2 a.m. Pop gave in and slept on a bed with him. He spent the night stroking and poking his grandfather until I rose to give the breakfast bottle at 6 a.m. We are still getting over it, even after an early night last night!!!

If you choose to use the online shop to order, you will be asked for a Host Code, which groups the month's orders like a party, so I can pass on a gift to you. Orders can also be placed by contacting me direct and can be paid for with cash or credit card.
