Another 60th Birthday!
Saturday, 11 June 2022
Hello Beautiful
I can't stop using "In The Moment" stamp set, and I've used paper piecing again.
You stamp the image onto the background, and then also stamp onto the paper you are wanting to cut and use. Leave the outline for definition, but if you mess up, it's forgiving because of the stamped image underneath.

Quick & Easy 60th Birthday Card
Recently I arrived back from holidaying with one girlfriend, in time to attend the 60th birthday party of another, the next day at lunch time. The gift was chosen but no card was made - oh dear!
The creating was made easier by using Abstract Beauty cards & envelopes. Half the job is already done when you use a product like that. The paper is from the Abstract Beauty 4" x 6" specialty designer series paper, and I hadn't realised what a close match it was for the drink bottle and lunch bag until it was made.

Colour Creations Week 4 Sweet Sorbet
As I was ironing the other day, I was inspired to try to recreate my t-shirt as a One-Sheet-Wonder. It had occurred to me that Painted Poppies stamp set was quite close the the featured flower, and Hello Beautiful stamp set has squiggles and blobs which would be useful.
I didn't cover the whole sheet of card, thinking some white spaces might be useful, but I'm not sure if they really were. I was able to make six cards from that stamped sheet though, and that made me happy.
This card with three segments is a fun one to make with designer series paper that co-ordinates or like this with contrasting colours and texture. Sweet Sorbet was embossed with Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and Old Olive with the multi-lingual 'Thanks' embossing folder. It comes paired with another with 'Hello' in many languages.
For the other 3 cards, there is a regular card front, mounted on a black matt, another with the card front sliced into 4 pieces and lastly, a slimline card with Postage Card Punch pieces lined up along the centre.

Colour Creations - So Saffron
The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. This is week 44 of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and we are up to So Saffron.
So Saffron is not quite a pastel, and not such a favourite of mine so I have paired it with Polished Pink to liven things up! I also stamped the image onto DSP and cut out the dress, for some added interest. It helps tie the colours together as well.
Hello Beautiful was still on my craft desk from last weeks masculine card in Smokey Slate, but this time I've used small flowers and leaves, and the three little crosses.
The next talented team member (and actually first on the list, since I am last) is the lovely Kate Morgan

Colour Creations - Smokey Slate
The scribbles and dots were added in black Memento ink and then I pulled out Home & Garden to stamp the ladder and diecut before colouring with Smokey Slate Blends. 'Birthday Wishes' is from Home & Garden also, and after lining up the stamp on the card front, that sentiment was added using the step-stamping method, with the Stamparatus. You move the plate down one hinge mark and stamp, then move one more until you have a lovely line of greetings.
The same step-stamping was used for 'to the man who can do anything', this time stamped in Old Olive. The grass was die cut from the same shade of green and a few of the rock embellishments were placed on the 'ground'.
A little more stamping on the inside in Smokey Slate finishes this card nicely. Home & Garden has not made it into the Annual catalogue so if you need this stamp & die bundle, don't wait too long to place your order. I think it might be another popular one.
Next Art With Heart Team member to share is the talented Christine Blain. I wonder if her card is for a man, woman or child?
