Colour INKspiration is a fortnightly blog initiated by Bronwyn Eastley in Tasmania. The design team is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project.
This colour challenge is pretty easy, because you can use 1,2,3,4 or all In Colors plus any basics. Varied Vases is a more diverse set than you might imagine, and because it is a stamp and punch combo, you don't need to have the Big Shot in your craft room.
I'm not sure if it is permissable to use Flirty Flamingo as the card base, but I did like the way it went with the
Garden Impressions DSP. Not an exact match, but oh-so-complementary! I am a fan of bright and cheerful colour, so this DSP really appeals,as does the new InColors. The vases are Pineapple Punch, a very muted second-generation stamping of Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushel. The flowers are also coloured with the InColor Stampin' Write markers. This card, in particular the placement of the vases, was inspired by a card designed byMelbourne Stampin' Up!® demonstrator Rachel Woolard for a gathering we had in Melbourne with Claire Langsford, from Sydney Head Office.

This is another variation of the same card with the orientation altered but the same placement of the vases. They were set up on a acrylic block and I was able to stamp multiple versions of the same card. Such a timesaver when you need to get a larger number made in a hurry. The base and DSP of this card are both Lovely Lipstick and the vases are Melon Mambo, Lovely Lipstick and Berry Burst. Again, those pinks together are gorgeous, don't you think?
Head on over to see what the very artistic
Liz Gross has shared this time. If you want to go back,
Rose Packer is before me.
