Tulips in a Black Vase

A quick and easy card for this post, using Varied Vases, a little strip of DSP, a fancy strip die cut from the Sweet Baby dies. There are patterned vases in the stamp set, along with plain, and a punch to make things easier too.

With the flowers, a variety of colours were punched to get a bright vase of tulips. Tulips are flowering in the Dandenong Ranges, outside Melbourne at the moment.

Festive Farmhouse CTC195

Welcome back to another week of CASE-ing The Catty. The crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project. This week the design team are focusing on pages 12-17 and I chose to top up my supply of baby cards for new baby girls.

Sweet Baby is my go-to baby stamp at the moment. I love colouring the babies with Stampin' Blends, and the dies definitely make them more fun to cut out. The Detailed Baubles Thinlet Dies has a beautiful large lacy die, which seems perfect for these sweet little cards. It seems like it's the same one used in the catalogue sample too.

It is lovely sitting and colouring, and a bit of fun dreaming up colour combinations too. The new Tufted textured impressions embossing reminds me of a soft quilt, perfect for our baby.

Petals & More thinlets has this die to cut out the sentiment, just a touch fancy, and a little longer to accommodate this particular one. It helps when the stamp set has a sweet little sentiment for the inside, like the one below. It has a lovely font, don't you think?

Here is a second variation using the same key products. It is a different pink card, and I borrowed a sentiment from the fabulous stamp set Better Together. At least I'm ready now for the next couple of arrivals, so long as they're girls!

Next along on the blog hop this week is the talented Angela in New Zealand

If you'd like to share your creativity from CASE-ing the Catty, remember it is pages 12-17 this time, and you can pin it on the wall here on Facebook.

Sweet Baby Subtles CI#39

Colour INKspiration is a fortnightly blog initiated by Bronwyn Eastley in Tasmania. The design team is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project. You may have come from the talented Denita, but if not, make sure you go right around the hop to see her project.

I've used Pool Party, Soft Seafoam and Petal Pink on my Sweet Baby cards. This is a very cute addition to this years catalogue, and I have made quite a number of different cards using the stamps and matching dies. Included in my supplies for this card is the Subtles TIEF, which gave the lovely texture on the Pool Party strip.

Leftover strips from Twinkle, Twinkle DSP helped tie the colour choices together in the most delightful way. I like being able to include a touch of Petal Pink on the boy card. I don't think the pretty, white Lacy strip is out of place either.

This stamp set includes a sweet verse for the inside of the card, and little accessories for the bubs. None included here, it would be too hard to keep your soft hat or pretty bow on while playing in the Jolly Jumper!!!

To keep to the strict budget I've set myself, so I can afford my trip to Stampin' Ups!® 30th anniversary convention in Orlando, Florida in November, I can only add a couple of Stampin' Blends to my monthly order. This month I ordered light and dark Flirty Flamingo. I love colouring with Stampin' Blends.

Next along this hop is the talented Nicole Wilson, in WA

Thrifty Thursday #3

Thrifty Thursday again and this week its a baby card using the new Sweet Baby stamps with matching framelits. Don't forget, they're bundled with a different code for a 10% discount. The thrifty aspect here is this is Coastal Cabana card from its first outing a few years back and some DSP that was already cut into pieces and waiting for the card to be finished off. DSP is on special this month, so if you don't have enough (and even if you do) you can order and pay for 3 packs, get the 4th one for free. I'm also running a paper share for those who'd prefer a half of 4 packs. This will cost you $30 - thrifty!!!

There are a couple of cute baby stamps in the new Annual catalogue. Sweet Baby is available in red rubber, wood mount with the blocks supplied, or clear mount, where you place stamps onto acrylic blocks.

This type of Jolly Jumper swing was very popular with all my baby boys, and ours was a royal blue. I coloured with Stampin' Blends, very quick and easy with a smooth finish. The newer colours of Stampin' Blends have hit the warehouse, and I keep adding a couple each time I order. If you need to order supplies, you can visit my online shop anytime of the day or night, or call me to place an order direct,  2.30pm until 9 pm.
