Pretty Peacock World

For this masculine card, Watercolor World was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto Hello Irresistable 6" X 6 " DSP. In the southern hemisphere we love that Australia & New Zealand are included.

For the other stamping I used a stamp set included in a kit, available still in the online store, Timeless Greetings. Another set aimed more to the fellas, but with handy stamps which can be used anywhere.

Timeless Greetings $41
includes 8 cards/envelopes, ink spot, stamps

The small map from the kit stamps with a greeting stamped over seemed a 'good fit' for this card.

Everything used in this project can be purchased in my online shop. Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

Colour, Colour, Colour

Now I have made a total of five cards using In The Moment and Beside Me as the subject. These are the 3 images from In The Moment, two made using the Fresh As a Daisy DSP and one using the online paper, Hello Irresistable DSP

If you love patterned paper as much as I do, this 15% discount on Designer Series Paper will be very good news. It is for all of June while stock lasts, let's hope they have plenty in the warehouse. Shop ONLINE and the discount will be displayed in the shop.

This card is a wiper card - the sentiment swings over and up when the card is opened. It's quite an easy fun fold which I watched Jacque Williams, NZ demonstrator share on YouTube and there is a link a little further on in this post.

Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon are the returning colours in this DSP. Both seem to go really well with the new In Colors, which are all on the coloured art piece, along with other new and returning colours.

Jacque Williams shared her Easy Wiper card on her blog and inspired me to try making them too.

The back of the card features a partial image, along with an appropriate sentiment.

If your wish list is rather long, have you thought about joining up as a hobby demonstrator? Team members come to classes for free, or if you live too far away to do that, you can chat on Facebook with demos from our team and the wider umbrella of members. You start with a 20% discount off your purchases, so you can buy 20% more!!!! I'm happy to make a time to chat to you about what it all means or if you're happy to choose $235 worth of products and pay $169 with free shipping on your first order, here is the link.

Colour Creations - Week #48 - Soft Sea Foam

The participants in AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours alphabetically. This is week #48 and Soft Sea Foam is our colour.

It seemed to me like a good idea to team Pretty Peacock (a returning colour) with Soft Sea Foam since I had ink, card and blends still saved from when it was an In Color. Both colours are included in the Hello Irresistible DSP.

The card itself is fairly simple allowing the patterned paper do all the work. The smaller panel has a partial die cut overlay, which had nearly been tossed into recycling when it didn't cut too well.

This solution of trimming it down worked well, adding an extra element of interest.

The Pretty Peacock ink stamped the sentiment, Stampin' Blends were used to colour white ribbon for this card and a tiny glimpse of the card is around the hole in the Tailor Made tag.

Next talented team member to share is the 'other' Rachel, Rachel Woollard

Colour Creations- Week #43 - Rich Razleberry

Rich Razzleberry is our featured colour, a part of the Regals family. It's been quite a while since I used Rich Razzleberry but it goes really well with Pretty Peacock, a returning colour which I still have card and ink for. I think Pretty Peacock will end up in the Regals too, so I wonder what will retire?

Despite trying to follow a budget each month, every now and again even I break the rules. When Demo pre-order for the Irresistible Blooms Suite was announced, it was ... irresistible! This is a special 'Online Only' offering, available from March 1st and with no set end-date.

It's not just one thing with this suite, it's the whole package. The paper comes in gorgeous patterns and colours, the dies are mostly flower and leaf outlines for the stamped images, except for this lovely strand & bubble piece and the circle is cut out with the same strand & bubble effect surrounding the circle.

Using Rich Razzleberry ink, I simply stamped the two flowers onto white card stock and spread the ink about with a water painter. The same process happened with the stamped leaves, only in the returning colour, Pretty Peacock. All four of the suite offering are on this card - there's paper, stamps, dies and gems. I ordered them all with the one simple code.

I am away having quality family time including a trip to see Mary Poppins with my grand-daughter, so this week I will link to Andrea Sargent, and cross my fingers there is no problem!

More Irresistible

The Irresistible Blooms suite has 4 items - stamps, dies, designer series paper and gems. The paper is called Hello Irresistible, and there are some gorgeous patterns and colours in there including two returning favourites - Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon. I'd say we are safe to assume a colour refresh is coming soon.

A piece of the Hello Irresistible paper in Flirty Flamingo was cut for a half card front and a bunch of water coloured, die cut flowers and leaves were added along the join. Splatters were added freely to the inside of the card as well as the front.

Do you prefer the Flirty Flamingo card on the left or the Polished Pink one on the right?

CTC #408 CASE Mini Catalogue Bundles

This week I received a new suite of products from Stampin' Up! and I could hardly wait to play with these gorgeous papers - Hello Irresistable DSP.  The suite consists of Irresistable Blooms stamps & Dies, the Hello Irresistable DSP and some cute little gems, Loose Frosted Dots. If you want all 4 items you can use the code for the suite instead of ordering each part individually. Available 1st March, online only.

I was so excited in fact that I CASE-d two different bundles!!! This one was the Something Fancy bundle on page 83 at the back of the mini catalogue. Just like the art department at Stampin' Up! did, I've let the pattern paper do the major lifting. However, the Hello Irresistable DSP has paper which you can die cut flowers out of!!!

That advantage meant I was able to add to my project without even inking up stamps from the bundle and isn't that circle just so.... irresistible?

The birthday stamp from Something Fancy still filled that space nicely, and I do seem to need a few of these ‘belated’ birthday cards.

Two different sheets of paper have the flowers, so they come in two shades. There may be even more choices for the leaves.

The other bundle I CASE-d was Queen Bee, using the same bundle with the Hello Irresistable DSP.

The bee was heat embossed onto Petal Pink and all the die cuts were cut from the Hello Irresistable DSP.

When I checked my Flirty Flamingo card, I discovered the strip with a little fancy die cutting. I can't remember which project it came from but it's been added to the inside of this card.

We love for you to share your projects using the challenges. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE letting us know which card or project you've CASE-d.

The very talented  Julia Quinn is next on this blog hop.
