I ordered hand towels from a West Australian demonstrator, Sheila Pybus, and had a lovely meet-up with her in Melbourne to collect my order. I always put out a hand towel when I hold a class, and I assumed my demo friends might also like to do the same.
These self-closing boxes were fun to make, and not all that difficult. I would be happy to teach a class so if you're interested in doing this one, let me know. I'm in South Morang, out of Melbourne. Seemed a good idea to use the Best Route paper, it fits the theme, as we had all travelled to New Zealand for Onstage, which of course involved a flight for most of us. One who didn't fly was Paula Dobson, a New Zealand demo, who stayed a night in our AirBNB near Rotorua, on her way to Auckland. It is such a bonus forming all these friendships with women who love to craft, just as much as I do. We 'speak' the same language.
I found the H block a very handy tool, and not for stamping this time. By placing it inside the box, it held the base firmly to allow the Tombow liquid glue to set. It doesn't take long, but it is a good idea to apply pressure for just a little while.
The box fits a small Body Shop hand cream and a sweet treat to keep the energy levels up. What else can you think of to put into a box like this?
You can order from my online shop even when I'm away, and I am notified of your order. Orders of $50 or over during April will receive a quarter share of brand new pattern paper (DSP) in the mail from me, and if you remember to use the host code as well, there will be a share of host dollars for you too. Any item below will take you to that item in my shop.
