Last week I had a mammoth session die cutting a lot of these word dies from Peace & Joy Bundle, the Joy dies. This was because after adhering the self adhesive sheets to various different foils, glimmer paper and card, it made sense to make a few.
Using strips of pattern paper was my other mission with this particular crafting session. You know when you're using 6" square paper to cut a card front, you always get about 2" left over on one side? Or in the case above, where I cut the papers in half at 3" to give samples to customers. There's nothing wrong with using that 3" strip as-is, but you can add another 1" strip for a different look too.
The metric measurement for the card front is 10.1cm by 14.3cm if you are using A4 card, but I score my card at 14.5cm and cut the 3cm sliver off, so that it is easier for me to read on the ruler, so 10cm by 14 cm for me. So when I was using the 3 DSP above, and they were a bit narrow for the card front, I used a scrap of embossed foil paper for decoration, and to fill the gap. On these cards, Gilded Gems draw attention to the metallic foil, and did you notice that it is just the word die cut and added to the labels.

This shows you three different examples of the dies beginning with three together, then two and finally a single word. Personally, I like them all.
Four Seasons Floral stamp set is in the 'Getting Started' brochure, a very reasonably priced photopolymer stamp (#152801 $24) which is a good one to practise colouring, as it is quite a small image. The top left image is a poinsettia, and matches with the Christmas paper included in the 'Flowers For Every Season' DSP. I really love the Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers) but you can use ink, pencil or Stampin' Write Markers too.
