Colour Creations Blog Hop - Week 20 - Early Espresso

Early Espresso is a lovely chocolate brown which I paired with Crumb Cake for contrast here on this card. It is a smaller card with Everyday Arches featured to display the stamped images.

Peace On Earth supplied the sympathy sentiment and all the other stamped images are from Textured Notes.

On Thursday, for one day only Stampin' Up! have a Flash Sale featuring stamps and stamp tools.

Magic Mushrooms

I seem to have been running on the spot all week and haven't had enough time to create but I thought I'd share this 'Magic Mushroom' card that I made a while ago with you tonight.

Keeping to a basic colour palette suited my mood at the time, and I had been wanting to use the Everyday Arches dies. They aren't in a catalogue, check under dies in the online store or just pop the name in the search bar.

The DSP is no longer available, it was a SALE-A-Bration release but there are others which could be easily substituted. Terrific Toadstools can be ordered alone or as a bundle at a 10% discount with a toadstool punch.

Once you opt in to the Stampin' Rewards, you also earn 10% in rewards to spend on a future purchase. Do you prefer to use them as you go, or save them up for a larger purchase?

Wishing you a happy (and magical) weekend. Hope you get to do something you enjoy.
Happy crafting,

CTC#507 CASE a Bundle from the Annual catalogue

CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

This week we are CASE-ing the Annual catalogue and bundles in particular. I studied the catalogue over a cuppa (so nice to revisit an old friend) and decided I liked this yellow card in Hearts & Hugs (page 61).

It features embossed panels, and I nearly headed that way, but this lovely Regal Winter DSP is on special at the moment, which then helped decide on a different colour scheme.

Blackberry Bliss would not be my usual first choice, but it worked well for stamping the butterfly and using Wink of Stella to spread the colour. Beautiful Butterflies arrived in my craft room this week as a SALE-A-Bration freebie! Can you believe that you can earn this new release stamp from the summer mini for just placing a $100 order?

The new Everyday Arches dies are still in transit to my house, so I used the retiring Garden Meadow dies, which are priced at $12.60 and traced around the die to make the second layer in Blackberry Bliss.

Although I didn't think I needed another butterfly in my stash, I have to admit that the sentiments included in Beautiful Butterflies are very useful, some in plain type and others with this lovely font.

Purple Fine Shimmer Gems were a perfect match and add another touch to the picture. I do so wish you could see the lovely Wink of Stella shimmer on the butterfly.

Now it's your turn. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE.

Next crew member sharing is the wonderful Julia Quinn. I'm sure Julia is sharing something wonderful.

All products used to make these cards are Stampin' Up! and are available in my online store or contact me to find out more details. It is a good time to shop during February as SALE-A-Bration continues until the 28th where you earn free product with every $100 increment of your order, so one stamp/die bundle will usually get you there, but it is also a good time to stock up on the basics like card and glue.
