This week at CASE-ing The Catty we are sharing our favourite SALE-A-Bration pick, whether it be a stamp set, one of the papers or even Project Life - they're all available for you to pick when you make an order of $90. If you happen to be mad for everything in the Occasions catalogue, you can pick an item for every $90 you order ($180 = 2 items, $270 = 3 items, $360 = 4 etc). If you get as high as that, maybe you should have a chat to me about joining up as a demonstrator, Stampin' Up!® welcomes and supports all types of demonstrators from the hobby demo buying crafting supplies at a discount, through to those making it a full time business. During SALE-A-Bration you choose $295. of any products from the Annual Catalogue and/or the Occasions Catalogue and pay only $169. Of course, you can purchase your supplies through my online shop, or by contacting me, you just need to have a delivery address in Australia.
I chose the Sky Is The Limit stamp set to share this week, because I love the bi-plane image and the samples in the SALE-A-Bration magazine. It fits very nicely with the antique images from Traveler stamp set in the Annual catalogue, but it is only on offer for a limited time. As long as stock lasts or February 15th, whichever comes sooner. This is a simply sweet card, a little stamping, a little punching/die cutting (of clouds) and a little fussy cutting (plane). There is a vellum propellor on the front of the plane, just like the sample in the catalogue!![]() |

When I was checking out my box of new supplies, I noticed some of the lovely designs on Shine On Specialty Designer Series Paper, (page 31 of the Occasions Catalogue). This one has these lovely shiny silver clouds printed onto a heavier Kraft card. They inspired me to create this 'up in the clouds' card with recessed stamping. The bi-plane was stamped in Basic Grey for a softer look and the stamped clouds inside the circle have been stamped with white Craft Ink before Wink Of Stella was applied, giving a delicious sheen to the clouds.
The reverse of the clouds is Kraft and Bermuda Bay stripes, so while the card was out, I cut another strip and quickly made another masculine-type card. 'Congratulations' is another of the sentiments included with The Sky Is The Limit, that font suits all cards - for male or female birthdays, wedding, graduation etc.
I'm loving this stamp set, such cute, fun images. What is your must-have SALE-A-Bration stamp set?
