CTC 481 CASE A Sketch
CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.
A sketch is always a fun way to kick-start your creativity, it will be interesting to see the variations we have this week, and then you might like to add yours on our Facebook page too.
Irresistible Blooms is still available as a bundle in the Online store saving you 10% overall, and you will want the dies as there is a lovely fancy circle and a border piece as well as the flowers and leaves.
The sentiments are a little different with unexpected lower-case letters, and this longer one suited my vision for this sketch.
A second card using the same sketch but a different stamp set, this time Country Flowers Bundle. This one can be viewed on pages 48-51 of the annual catalogue. I used Fun Patterns Embossing Folders on both these cards, the texture adds some interest to the white card stock.
Now it's your turn. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE.
Next along the hop is the talented Julia Quinn. She has also chosen flowers, but different ones again for a whole new look.
Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.
If you live in Australia, you can join my team, the FUNdamentals. One of the great things about Stampin' Up!® is the support they give to their demonstrators, creating a lovely 'family' feel. There is no pressure to hold parties, classes or demonstrate unless this is a path you want to go down. Join my team now, select $235 of product of your choice and still only pay $169. After that, get at least 20% discount on orders.

CTC 459 - CASE pages 23-31
CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.
This week we are CASE-ing Perennial Lavender pages 23-31 of the mini catalogue and invite you to join us with your CASE of a project from this section. You can be inspired by a layout, colours, choices of embellishments, and share with us what inspired you. Later in my post is a button which takes you to a Facebook page where you can share your project.
Everyday Details on page 28 inspired me to choose a single item, a coffee cup, in the centre of a die cut rectangle. Since I also own Everyday Details bundle, I could have copied this card exactly, but where's the fun in that?
Perennial Lavender DSP was still my choice for my card, but I stamped a cup from a NEW Online Exclusive which you can order from 5th March (Tuesday).

The aperture was cut with Perennial Postage dies, to show a lovely gingham paper also from Perennial Lavender. Sometimes the 'B' side of DSP isn't noticed but these two are so nice.
So, for my project I CASEd the layout, the rectangle frame, a twine bow and a single focal image.
Now it's your turn. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE.
The talented Tina Gillespie follows this week at CASE-ing The Catty.

CTC #426 CASE Hobbies & Recreation
CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who takes the Stampin' Up! catalogue to bed for some light reading. I did this the other night when I was looking for inspiration for something to CASE from the Hobbies & Recreation section.
So many possibilities but I settled on this one on page 93, and then decided to change it to Brewed For You which shares the same pages. What I liked about this layout was the Patchwork Pieces dies for the background, and the use of a circle to 'ground' the elements.
The final touch was stamping and heat embossing the sentiment twice so I could cut them into two strips like in the catalogue. Clearly, I didn't have the catalogue in front of me when I placed them on my card, but that doesn't matter one bit!
We love for you to share your projects using the challenges. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE letting us know which card or project you've CASE-d.
Peta Stephen follows with her CASE.

CTC#375 CASE Favourite Retiring Product
The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. You may have just arrived from Sandra Collett in New Zealand and now you are visiting the blog of Rachel Palmieri in Melbourne, Australia.
It really is too hard to pick a favourite retiring product when so many that have been a part of our lives for only 6 months up and leave. I do like 'Catch You Later' on page 63 of the January- June mini catalogue, especially the cat gazing into the fish bowl.
My scrap jar has multiples of coloured strips, some slight differences in width depending on if I were cutting a base or a layer, but the frugality of weaving random strips appealed to me.
We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE, and let us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.
