Contributors to this blog hop are all members of Claire Daly's Art With Heart group. Every Wednesday night at 8p.m AEST we feature a fabulous Stampin' Up! colour, in alphabetical order.
This week the star of the show is Fresh Freesia, a soft pinky/purple shade.
This week I decided to use Sketched Butterflies as my stamp for the Fresh Freesia card. It has the most delightful birthday sentiment, let alone those gorgeous butterflies.
The Petunia Pop ribbon, or any from that range really, make the loveliest tassel when tied and frayed. It's so soft & silky.
A fairly simple, clean, layered card to show off Fresh Freesia this week.
Next we'll pop on over to see the lovely Kate Morgan
If at any time you find a broken link or would like to see a full list of participants, please head to the blog of our host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Catherine Proctor.
Happy crafting,
Love those tassels Rachel, they really do set off this card and butterflies.
ReplyDeleteRachel, your card might be simple and clean but it is delightful with those pops of other colours on your Fresh Freesia butterflies. I love the frayed ribbon effect too!
ReplyDeleteA delightful butterfly card Rachel. The brightly coloured butterflies are gorgeous against the Fresh Freesia background. Love the deconstructed ribbon too. xxx
ReplyDeleteThat ribbon looks incredible, Rachel, and perfect to go with those delicate but colourful butterflies. So pretty!!
