Welcome back to another week of CASE-ing The Catty. The crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project.
I ordered Lots Of Happy Card Kit straight away because I find a complete kit like this is perfect to pop in your bag when you're heading away for a bit of relaxation. It actually contains EVERYTHING you need except for adhesive of your choice. You get all the materials needed to make 20 great cards, with the envelopes. That could be Tombow, Fast Fuse, Snail or double-sided tape. The dimensionals are included, as are stamps, an acrylic block, a Stampin' Spot (ink pad) ribbon, labels and 4 water color pencils. Maybe you could add a pack of Watercolor Pencils which will add another 11 colours to your range and some adhesive. Then you'd be able to order a free SALE-A-Bration item with your order.
I thought I could share an idea to make the stamp set included in this kit have a longer life when you've finished making the cards included.
Lots Of Lavender is a SALE-A-Bration stamp set which has similar flowers to the ones in the Lots Of Happy Card Kit - does it matter that I think they look more like Lilac? I stamped and coloured the image, before fussy-cutting it. With the kit, you just push the images out of the paper, they're pre-cut. It was quick and easy to use the Narrow Note cards & envelopes(#145583). These are a little small for posting as is, but fabulous for attaching to a smaller gift of flowers, pot plant, home-baked treat or whatever else you can think of.
The other small stamped flower is included in Lots Of Happy Card Kit and there is another flower stamp too, along with five sentiments. You'll be able to use it for other projects once you've finished the kit.
Lots To Love Box Framelit Die has the die to make this compact box to take 4 or 5 of the notecards and envelopes. It was specifically made for that, and comes with a bundled stamp set, Sure Do Love You and another option on the next page, Heart Happiness. Petal Palette was another set I used to decorate the box and one of the cards, and that is a bundled set which you can buy with dies, and get them both at 10% discount.
Boxed like this they make sweet gifts also, and there'd be no reason why you shouldn't make 4 of the lilac above, package them in a box decorated with a lilac too, and perhaps just vary the sentiment.
Next along the hop is the lovely and talented Liz Gross
Now, we want you to CASE the SAB catty and share here on our Facebook page. Don't forget to share which project you've CASE-d.
