It's My Party CTC#63

Here it is again, a Sunday evening in summery Melbourne, Australia. I have some friends from not-so-sunny Ireland staying at the moment, but before they arrived I made this birthday card. It's been CASE-d from the card pictured on page 5 of the catty, the one on the right of this picture. I ordered the big, bright, beautiful stack of It's My Party DSP so I have a heap of lovely vivid paper, and some more sedate neutrals too.

A stack like this is great if you want to make matching envelopes, because it works out at less than a dollar a sheet, and what's more, there are 24 different designs, plenty of variety there.

Whisper White was stamped with two of the stamps from Party Wishes before layering it onto the It's My Party DSP. I have to tell you, I really like this big 'happy birthday' sentiment with the built-in shading.

A narrow strip of another paper from the stackwas cut to fit the Washi Punch, just to fancy up the ends, before tying some Melon Mambo Baker's Twine all the way around.

The baker's twine comes in a pack of two, the other shade is Mint Macaroon.  It's My Party Enamel Dots come in two sizes, three shades, and I'm using heaps of them. Instead of the three tiny punched balloons, I used a stamp saying 'make a wish' and then used Wink of Stella to make it look extra-special and festive. This card is quite quick and easy, even easier if you made it one layer like the catalogue version.

If you're itching to buy some new supplies, and you'd like me to be your demonstrator, you can shop online here 24/7.My phone number if you have any questions is 0417 500 681. It would be lovely if your order is a modest one for you to add the hostess code 4G296SCD, at checkout.
If your order is at least $90, not only will Stampin' Up!® ask you to choose a SAB freebie at checkout, I will post you a pack of It's My Party Enamel Dots.
Starting this year we are doing a monthly challenge. If you have been inspired by any of the projects in the catalogue or on the blog hop, feel free to share with the linky tool on this post. A winner will be chosen and announced on the first post of the following month.

Now if perhaps you've started here with me you might like to go
back and check what the lovely Emma at Vintage Graffiti made this week. Otherwise press NEXT to go forward and join Rebecca, The Paper And Stamp Addict. (Aren't we all paper and stamp addicts?)
