Love You To The Moon FMS #133

I have three of my grandchildren staying this weekend while their parents are involved with a wedding a couple of hours drive from here. We had a fun crafting session this morning with drawing and stickers and after one of the boys had drawn Saturn, it inspired me to make this Love You To The Moon card during the little one's nap. I've seen a number of  cards made with the big circle 'moon' and another layer with circles punched for craters, and then the wee mouse from Life In The Forest, a new favourite of mine, is popping out of one of those craters. I wonder if he's been nibbling away at the moon?

I have been really enjoying water colouring with the Aquapainter, so I did a little of that today too. I coloured with Coastal Cabana, what I guess to be the moon really, to try to make it look more like Earth. The Framelits Circle collection helped cut the 'moons' and a variety of smaller circle punches the craters. I've used sponge daubers to ink around all the edges.

Freshly Made Sketches gave me  the starting point with this sketch provided by Cindy this week. It's well worth checking out the design teams' cards and all the other submissions - they're bound to inspire you!

And here is the little miss who is giving me the biggest run for my money this weekend, her older brothers are easily amused, but Alice only wants to be with Grandma, bless her! She seems to like this photo from earlier today the best, as she helps me type. I have to admit I'm lovingbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb the help. Love them all to the moon and back!

Hope your weekend is fun-filled too
Rachel
