CTC#389 CASE AN ANNUAL CATALOGUE BUNDLE

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. Thank you for visiting the blog of Rachel Palmieri in Melbourne, Australia.

The Cheerful Basket bundle is on page 162, and I was tempted to use one of the baskets on my card too but resisted in the end. Must play with it again soon though.

Instead, I've taken the three panels, but used the Scalloped Contour dies to make them a wee bit fancy. The piece I've cut them from was actually in my 'leftovers' pile, do you have one of those? I made a project some time back using white craft ink blended over the Quatrefoil embossing folder.

The Scalloped Contour dies has this lovely big, scalloped border included which I cut in white to back the 3 panels.

Instead of twine around the panels a nest of silver twine gave some lovely sparkle.

The scrap left over was also cut with the scalloped die giving a lovely finish to the inside.

We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE letting us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.

Next crew member to check out is my lovely friend Tina, I'm always inspired by her creations.

  1. Oh, wow, your card is gorgeous!! The soft blue embossed background is fantastic, and I love how you've layered it over the scalloped piece. You know that I love a finished inside, and yours is perfection.

Love the colours and the large scalloped edge at the bottom pairs nicely with the smaller scalloped panels. Lovely card
