The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week 14 of this round of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and we are sharing Coastal Cabana.
Coastal Cabana was an In Color early in my time with Stampin' Up! and I was very sad when it's two year run came to an end. What I didn't know was the colours would have a refresh at a later date, and Coastal Cabana would make a return. How good is that!!!
It seemed a fun idea to combine the vellum map, big trees, a caravan and dog to wish someone happy travels. I borrowed the sentiment from Paradise Palms. I think it suits this card well.
If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.
Rachel, I'd love a retro Coastal Cabana caravan too! Perhaps we should leave our husbands and do a "Thelma and Louise", ha ha?!!! I'd totally forgotten about this printed vellum but I just love it with the caravan – what an awesome card!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great card, Rachel. I love the stamps and vellum background that you teamed with the caravan. Fabulous result!
ReplyDeleteI agree - we all need colourful retro caravans in our lives! Your card is fabulous, I love the map vellum behind the cute scene you've created.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Rachel, the map vellum in the background is perfect and Coastal Cabana is the perfect colour for a caravan.
ReplyDeleteGreat card, It makes me want to get away today in our van. But I have to wait another week. The Map vellum really sets it off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteSorry to say, we own one of those "bland" coloured caravans lol! I'm not offended haha. Rachel what a fabulous choice that vellum is to pair with the retro caravan.
ReplyDeleteOh I like your Coastal Cabana Caravan, I have seen one of these done up as a tiny house, maybe that would get your Hubby caravanning! Love the vellum and sentiment for your card it is a fantastic card!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great card Rachel. I love it. I love the CC colour for the van and the map vellum is perfect for the background, specially being stamped with trees. The sentiment is perfect. Beautiful xxx
ReplyDeleteRachel I too would love to own a brightly coloured retro caravan. There is one just round the corner from us and it is Merry Merlo in colour. The couple who own it sell coffee and cake from it. When I was a very small child some 60 years ago my parents owned a Petal Pink one. We took it on a road trip to the Blue Mountains and the VW wouldn't tow it up the hills. :) I love your card as it brings back some lovely memories.
ReplyDeleteI'm with everyone else Rachel, if I had a caravan, I would love a retro blue one!! What fun!
