Gorgeous Grape is a perfect partner to our other purples - Highland Heather & Fresh Freesia. My first flat had a Gorgeous Grape couch!
The annual catalogue provided me with inspiration for this card with the background stamping in Versamark, and the heat embossed flower using Shaded Summer and the dies.
Aren't the mixed fonts in this stamp set lovely? A little background stamping with versamark means you don't need to worry about the ink colour, and a little heat embossing on vellum to finish off.
If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.
Fabulous ombre card, Rachel. Love the versark stamping - it gives such a great effect!
ReplyDeleteOh, how beautiful, Rachel! I love the look of the three purples together (didn't even think of combining them!), and the floral spray white heat-embossed on vellum. A really lovely, elegant, card.
ReplyDeleteWOW, Love the monochromatic stripes Rachel, and the embossed flowers are a perfect focal point.

ReplyDeleteRachel your card is very clean and elegant combining the white embossed flower against the three shades of purple card stock. The pearls add softness and beautiful font in the sentiment too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card Rachel, love the background, it really brings your eye to the embossed Flower.
ReplyDeleteWow, the white embossing on vellum adds a gorgeous softness to this card, Sharon. I love these 3 colours together, just beautiful and the Versamark stamping is fantastic. Lovely card x
