Happy EPIC Celebrations

Now it is the dying days of the SALE-A-Bration promotion and I'm afraid some of you are in danger of missing out. The offerings this year were varied and extensive, it has been quite tricky keeping track of all the loveliness. Epic Celebrations was my second favourite (after Party Pandas) and I have 3 cards to share today, using this stamp set. If you want to add it to your $90 order, you enter #147232 to order wood mount or #147236 for clear mount. Both styles are free with your qualifying order. I am available to help you place an order if you require advice or assistance.

Happy Celebrations #143012 is the other stamp set I used for this series of cards, and it suits the edgie teen-feel of the Epic Celebrations stamp set. You might like to take a look at this stamp set on page 34 of the Annual catalogue. It is a little more expensive than you might expect for photopolymer at $61.00, but it covers a number of occasions and has some great 'grunge' background stamps included. If you were thinking of joining my FUNdamentals team before the end of the month, Stampin' Up! are allowing you to add two stamp sets of any price to your other $235 of goods, so potentially you could score more than $400 of crafting goodies for an outlay of $169!!!

The three cards are a step-it-up series. It is a fun way to show off the possibilities. The first card is fairly easy, except maybe for the little bit of masking to get the sneakers on top,  but after you've seen that done once, it will be super easy for you too. I've shared how I added designer series paper to the letters in this post.

A pencil line was ruled to get the letters straight this time, but another version will show you them placed haphazardly. The word 'happy' was stamped onto the patterned paper and hand cut. Beginning with the first and last letter, adhere in place before calculating where the centre is.

After that, it is easy enough to finish off the word and if you use Tombow liquid glue, you have some wriggle-room to adjust positions slightly. Below you can see Version 2 completed.

Pulling some colours from the DSP ( Picture Perfect Party Paper stack) and the addition of some enamel shapes helps to lift this second version as well.

Here we have the ultimate version! Not really, you can use this stamp set so many ways, just check 'Epic Celebrations Stampin Up' on Pinterest. I used the other two image stamps on this one as well, but there is still 3 more stamps not seen here. Don't you think this is a must-have stamp set?

Here's a quick little shopping list that comes in at $90.75, just 75c over the qualifying amount to claim Epic Celebrations for FREE.

#143012 Happy Celebrations                  $61.00
#145559 Picture Perfect Party                 $17.50
               designer series paper
#140490 Whisper White A4 Thick card $12.25

Of course once you're shopping you'll see lots of goodies to add, and you might even earn a second SALE-A-Bration bonus, there's no limit. Finishes definitely 31st March.

Awesome & Epic

SALE-A-Bration is coming to an end at the end of March, and I'd be interested to know which were the most popular items. Initially I'd have thought it would be Party Pandas followed by Epic Celebrations, but then mid-February they released 3 more stamp sets and the most gorgeous foil paper which will have changed the statistics somewhat.

I've headed beach side for the long weekend, so I'm not able to participate in the CASE-ing The Catty blog hop. Instead I'm sharing a card made with Epic Celebrations which I CASE-d from another demonstrator, whose name I jotted down, so I could acknowledge her, and now I've lost the piece of paper!!! If it is you, let me know and I'll gladly link back to you.

For the 'Awesome' card I've used the SAB Bubbles & Fizz DSP (paper) because the colours are so bright and the converse-style shoes look to be teen, pre-teen to my way of thinking.

The 'Epic' card is softer and girlier and while it follows a very similar layout to the first, it does have hearts instead of stars.

I love both these cards, they'll be great for my grandchildren in the 8-12 years range.

Some more pattern paper and a sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday finished these off nicely.

If you have children or grandchildren who'd like cards like these, you really should get on to making an order before SALE-A-Bration ends. The only catch is, you'll need to order $90 of products to earn Epic Celebrations, for free.It comes in clear or wood mount. You might like to start with Picture Perfect Birthday, to freshen up your birthday sentiments. Click on its name to see them. It has loads of sentiments and in photopolymer only, retails for $30. Do you need to add some card or adhesive to your order?

AWH SALE-A-Bration Blog Hop

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects using products from the sale-a-bration brochure. All sale-a-bration products are earned for FREE with sales of $90+ (AUD).
• If you spend $90, you get one free level 1 product.
• If you spend $180, you get one free level 2 product, OR, they can choose two level 1 items.
• If you spend $270, you have the option to choose three level 1 items or one level 1 item and one level 2 item.
The sale-a-bration promotion is current now until March 31st. Be sure to request your copy of the brochure today.
Sale-a-bration is also a great time to join our fabulous team. Ask any of the girls on the hop!

It was fun to put together these two bright cards using SALE-A-Bration products. Party Pandas, my first choice SAB pick had to be one and the Bubbles & Fizz DSP was the other.

I used the Stitched Shape Framelit dies to cut small squares from the DSP for a bright background. The party hat panda was stamped onto another Stitched Shape, this time a circle. I use these dies ALL the time.

Even the ribbon is a Sale-a-bration bonus pick (there are 3 spools in different colours) The Classic Label Punch always comes in handy for these small sentiments.

This card with the bottles uses the dies from the bundle, but not a single stamp! That's because the bottle dies cut out two sizes of images from the SALE-A-Bration DSP , Bubbles & Fizz.

Can you see the droplets of water? They're in the suite of products which you'll find on pages 32-33 of the Occasions catalogue.

I thought the sentiment from Perennial Birthday really suited the card!

Here's a 3rd card which uses some more of the Bubble & Fizz paper, a jar from Jars Of Love for bubble mixture, an icy pole stick from Cool Treats and the lid of an aqua painter.
Now you are heading over to see what my talented team member Leanne has made.

It's Panda- monium! #WWYS154

My heart skipped a beat when I spied the Party Panda stamp at Onstage, and I was even more excited when I could 'earn' it with my pre-order and start stamping in Mid-November. Funny thing is, I'm still not sick of it and put this card together tonight to join in with What Will You Stamp?

My main inspiration for this particular card was the sentiment I had spotted in Perennial Birthday, and what better than a crowd of Party-ing Pandas for "Cheers all round!" I think that might be a spot of pandemonium!!!

I was also very keen to try out this springy thing (not Stampin' Up!) that a friend had given me to try out. The third panda from the left is the guy with movement.

There is just so much to love about Party Pandas, do you agree?

Panda Party

Sale-A-Bration is my favourite time of the Stampin' Up! calendar. Every year from early January through to 31st March, you earn bonuses with a purchase which allow you to choose fantastic stamp sets and other products for FREE! It is still a long way off, but as a demonstrator who attended Stampin' Up!® Onstage, I have already earned some sets with my pre-order from the Occasions catalogue which kicks in, just as the Holiday catalogue finishes on 3rd January 2018.

Party Pandas immediately caught my eye and I was just a bit excited that it was a set I could choose NOW. If you'd like to get your hands on new products early, you could join my team and order yours from December 1st. Ask for more information if you're interested, because it might not be as big a commitment as you think.

There are three panda images in the stamp set and I've used them all on the card above. Nothing better than a group of tumbling pandas! I do hope that a boy turning four isn't too old for cute.

This is a simple card using a half sheet of the Tutti Frutti DSDS from the Occasions catalogue, as I said, available to customers in early January, but demonstrators on December 1st. The sentiments are from another Occasions Catalogue stamp set, Petal Palette. I chose apples, as this is for a group of nurses, and an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but no way am I giving them apples - chocolates all the way for these wonderful women!!!

Any orders in my online shop with the Host code receive a gift from me in the post. Since November is my birthday month, I am adding a handmade birthday card as well, for you to send to someone else.
