Celebrating 27 With Curvy Celebrations

Someone must have heard my wish for curvy dies and sentiments because we now can buy Curvy Celebrations! It will be available for customers to order on November 3rd, and Quite Curvy stamp set, with Curvy dies will feature in the mini catalogue next year.

Curvy Christmas and Classic Christmas DSP are only available from November 3rd until Christmas so you need to give it some thought, like do you love the row of curvy trees in the card on the left? Can you picture the trails of stars on a special birthday card?

I used it for a family birthday last week, making a soft, sweet version in Pool Party. The lacy curved die seemed perfect for this card, with a stamped and die cut flower bough and wee bird. Some leafy stems were die cut in silver foil card, and I snipped the flowers in half before colouring with Stampin' Write markers.

Playful Alphabet Dies also have numerals, so 27 was die cut and placed above a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings. Rhinestones always add a little more, so of course they've been scattered all about.

The Vanilla ribbon from Forever Greenery Trim combo is coloured quite easily. You can 'draw' on it with a Stampin' Blend or drag it across an ink pad, but I sat it in a little water with drops of ink refill added in the water.

A little stamping inside gives a nice finish.

Stamping  is such a fun way to get crafty, and so worthwhile for the pleasure it gives someone to receive a hand crafted card. Do get in touch if you need assistance, advice (or just a chat).

CASE-ing Colours CTC #290

Case the Colours of Plaid Tidings? That's a very big ask, and I decided to tackle it with bite-sized chunks. Picking a sheet of paper with a pleasing combination of colours was much easier.

Once upon a time..... I read a formula for using colour, but it uses imperial measurements so may not make a lot of sense unless you are familiar with those. A gallon, a quart and a pint were to be used of each colour.

For my first card I really did use that colour formula with a gallon of Shaded Spruce, a quart of Rich Razzleberry and a pint of Mango Melody. These show off the new Curvy Dies (available November 3) along with the very pretty trail of leaves from Quite Curvy.

For the second card, more even proportions were used, including Misty Moonlight, Seaside Spray and Magenta Madness that I'd noticed in a soft Seaside Spray plaid. I tried the lacy curvy die as well, and stamped the sentiment last so the Photopolymer stamp could be manipulated to match the curves.

There are 3 little birds to choose from, with dies for all. There will also be a Christmas stamp and paper available up until Christmas, individually or as part of a bundle. Buy the whole suite and you get 10% off everything. Quite Curvy & Curvy Dies are to be included in next years mini catalogue, so it is a chance to get new products extra-early.

Time to head over to see what Rebecca is sharing with us
