CTC#367

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. This week we begin with the cover of the NEW Annual Catalogue, which you can order from on 3rd May.

The photography for these catalogues is impressive, beginning with the cover. Aren't those flowers magnificent? I've been having a lovely play with flowers die cut from the Hues of Happiness DSP.

Since I've spent so much of April away from home. I am running very much behind on getting my catalogues out to customers, blogging, creating - all the small tasks which are a part of running a Stampin' Up! business. This is where CASE-ing really comes into its own. A sketch challenge this week was just what is needed.

For my CASE, I've adapted the flowers to a pair of teacups, and placed them on a sheet resembling notepaper which is from the  Designer Series Paper, He's The Man. Stamped foliage from the Cup of Tea stamp set imitates the foliage in the original cover card. This suite includes Tea Boutique cards & envelopes, which was a great help to speed up my creating process.

With dies to cut the stamped images, and an envelope already decorated, it's a quick and easy make.

If you should like to challenge yourself, here's a sketch to help out. The circles can be anything you like, just giving you an idea for placement. We'd love to see lots of entries, so give it a go, and share at the link.

The next talented crew member to share is Tina Gillespie, who has turned the sketch on it's side for something quite different.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share, and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

Oh I really like your choice of notecard and tea cups are a perfect replacement for the flowers.
