Colour Creations - Soft Suede

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. This  is the final week of the Colour Creations Blog Hop - but only for this round! We'll be back next week, beginning by introducing the new In Colors. This week we are featuring Soft Suede, a soft brown in the neutrals range.

New products have arrived in the craft room and I was excited to get crafting with He's All That, the stamp set from the suite, He's The Man. What a fabulous suite this is for the fellas in our lives! You can check it out on pages 78-79 of the NEW Annual Catalogue.

Beginning with a Soft Suede base, and also stamping in Soft Suede, I've done a bit of mix 'n' matching to create this card for my very patient husband, who never complains when I craft all day (or night) and forget to do housework or cook.

The designer series paper from this suite is great too, in particular there are two sheets which have the pre-punched labels, and what a variety there are. My Man is one of these, and there's a very cute combi van and many others.

A diagonal band in Soft Suede was textured with the Stripes folder from the Stripes & Splatters pair (page 177 AC). Looking at it from this angle, I wish I'd lined the band up with the Cajun Craze stripes, but my man won't care.

Finally the inside, very simply finished with a stamped compass which has words around. "Every day with you is another adventure."

Next you're popping over to see the work created by the talented Caroline

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.
