Colour Creations Week 1 Orchid Oasis


The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week one of this round of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and we are creating with Orchid Oasis.




Orchid Oasis is my favourite of this years In Colors, so I was pretty keen to try it out. Using Nature's Prints a couple of different leaves were stamped along the left side. An Orchid Oasis Stampin' Write marker was used to draw lines, freehand to support the sentiment.


There are some beautiful images in the Nature's Prints set, and I added a flower to the inside.





Even though the In Color colours for 2021-2023 aren't a direct match, the Fresh Freesia ones look pretty here.

    Your Orchid Oasis flowers are so pretty, arranged up the side of your card. It was such a great idea to hand-draw the lines under the sentiment - they look fab!

    Rachel, I love how you have used your Orchid Oasis Stampin' Write marker to draw freehand lines under the sentiment and I love all the white space on this beautiful card.

    Rachel, I LOVE your card. The stamping down the left hand side of your card front is beautiful, and I am very taken with the way you have anchored the sentiment. I was wondering where that great, irregularly-lined, stamp was from - I'm impressed that you created the pattern freehand! Lovely way to show off Orchid Oasis.

    I so love your Orchid Oasis card with the Natures Prints stamps. The different leaf images down the left hand side is delightful and I love the hand drawn stripes under the sentiment. All so gorgeous. Xxx
