Colour Creations Blog Hop - Old Olive

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. This is week 32 of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and as we use the colours alphabetically, we are up to Old Olive. This colour is an oldie, but a goodie, and I've teamed it with Shaded Spruce, Bumblebee and Gold.

I ordered the Rainbow Of Happiness Bundle to make all sorts of cards, but first up, this one. Please tell me, is this masculine enough for my 14 year old grandson?

Tip of the Day: Adhesive sheets on the back of the card stock work like magic to make adhering rainbow strips a painless crafting experience. They are wide enough to use Tombow multi purpose liquid glue, but I found it a tad messy, and adhesive sheets are heaps better on the back of numerals too.

Biggest Wish comes in so handy for big, bold greetings, as do the Playful Alphabet dies. This is such an easy fold to make a special card, a Twisted Easel Card - it is basically a standard card, with a fold diagonally, and a rectangular card front adhered.

Next lovely Art With Heart team member is Theresa

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, CathyProctor, and she will have the list of all participants.

If you live in Australia, you can join my team, the FUNdamentals. One of the great things about Stampin' Up!® is the support they give to their demonstrators, creating a lovely 'family' feel. There is no pressure to hold parties, classes or demonstrate unless this is a path you want to go down. For January through to February 28, there is a special joining offer of two free stamp sets from either catalogue, in addition to the other $235 worth of product. YES, you can pick expensive stamp sets! Want to find out more?

If you'd like to make cards similar to this, and need more information, feel free to get in touch. If you live anywhere in Australia, you may order from my online store (and I'll do a happy dance)! I hold classes in my home - South Morang, Victoria and at Phillip Island, Victoria as well.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share, and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

Currently, through January and February, Stampin' Up! offer a bonus with your $90 order, a free item. This promotion is called SALE-A-Bration, and there are a number of different rewards including a couple of higher value ones for larger orders.

  3. Oh I'm envious, you have the rainbow dies already ;) I think this is a wonderful masculine card for your grandson and a great tip to use the adhesive sheets. That is the perfect stamped sentiment and love the age numbers on the inside for your card to rest on!
