The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.
When I receive new stamp sets, I usually go straight to the catalogue and CASE the samples on the pages there. Sometimes I make nearly identical cards, other times they end up with very little resemblance to the inspiration piece.
I was dying to try the dies that cut these tulips, so I could create some 3D flowers too. On page 14 of the Jan-June mini is where you'll see the card I CASEd.
Just a few colour changes and so on, but the flowers are so easy to fold. Marbellous DSP is a SALE-A-Bration freebie, and I think the marbelled papers are ideal for flowers.
We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE, and let us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.

If you live in Australia, you can join my team, the FUNdamentals. One of the great things about Stampin' Up!® is the support they give to their demonstrators, creating a lovely 'family' feel. There is no pressure to hold parties, classes or demonstrate unless this is a path you want to go down. For January through to February 28, there is a special joining offer of two free stamp sets from either catalogue, in addition to the other $235 worth of product. YES, you can pick expensive stamp sets! Want to find out more? Message me to arrange a time to chat MOB: 0417500 681
Loving that paper Rachel, the way it gives the petal different shades of colour is very effective!

ReplyDeleteOh I didn't realise that the dies were 3d! How lovely are your flowers in the marble paper.
