Cute Fancy Fold

It has been such a wet day today I've spent some time watching Crafty Carrot Collective free birthday tutorials. Krista Frattin shared a cute little fun fold - easy peasy - using the Sweet Strawberry bundle and I thought it would be fun to CASE, using Wrapped Bouquet.

Wrapped Bouquet has a great stamp for backgrounds, it looks like the columns from a newspaper. That stamp was one of the main reasons I put this bundle on my first order from the January- June mini catalogue. I used Versamark, white embossing powder and a heat gun for this step.

Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper has some lovely, subtle 'b' sides to the paper, and I used a strip of one of those. Rococco Rose ink using the new blending brushes has been blended over the heat embossing.

The stamped image was diecut before colouring with a variety of Stampin' Blends. A few die cut leaves were added in the background, along with a strip of Fine Art Ribbon.

Artistry Blooms sequins add a pretty splash of colour too. I made a 20 minute video too.

 CARD RECIPE:

Cut a piece of Shimmery White card 25 cm by 14.5 cm.
Score at 10.8cm from the left, and using the mark to the right of the cutting track, score 3 cm from the right.
Cut DSP 14.3 cm by 2.8cm and adhere to the outside of the flap.
