Colour Creations - Week #8 - Lemon Lolly

Contributors to this blog hop are all members of Claire Daly's Art With Heart group. We love chatting, crafting and getting together in person. This week we are show-casing a new colour to the Stampin' Up! range - Lemon Lolly.

It's even more fun sharing our creations on Colour Creations Blog Hop with the new colours in the range. What do you think about Lemon Lolly?

Painted Posies Textured Impressions Embossing Folder adds a subtle floral background for the stamped flowers.

Two favourite stamp sets completed this card, Sending Smiles for the sentiments and Two Tone Flora the flowers.

Next team member this week is the very talented Andrea Sargent.

If at any time you find a broken link or would like to see a full list of participants, please head to the blog of our host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Catherine Proctor.

Sending Wishes & Happy Thoughts

So many products have been used on this card because there were so many bits and pieces left over on my desk, and I have a tendency to want to use them. You can no longer order the designer series paper, as it was a special promotion leading up to the beginning of the new mini catalogue, but everything else is still available.

Petal Park

This time I played with a new stamp & punch bundle, Petal Park. It is priced lower since it is a punch bundle, as opposed to dies, and the punch will cut out three flowers all at the same time. What's more, you've stamped them at the same time, so they are correctly positioned to make it easy. Check out pages 30-33 of the new mini catalogue to see more, including another bundle and some designer series paper.

I can't afford to buy it all at once, so I don't have those other parts of the suite yet and enjoyed placing it on Fancy Flora DSP instead. The colours used co-ordinate more with that range, which is a nice variation. If you have any questions about this project, or something else stamping-related, leave a message in the comments and I'll get back to you.

Colour Creations - Week 17 - Daffodil Delight

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week 17 of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and we are sharing another yellow, Daffodil Delight.
Daffodil Delight fits into the Brights family of colours, perfect for flowers and sunshine.

Sending Smiles is a great bundle to order if you love a big range of sentiments. It is available on page 14 of the Annual Catalogue (AC) and you can also get the bundle with dies to cut 'Sending', labels in 2 sizes and all those wonderful flowers and leaves. Of course it's 10% off when you choose a bundle.

Stamping the words across the background was quite easy since it was done quite lightly in Pool Party, making every effort to stamp straight  - and then just one to catch the eye in Bermuda Bay.

I do love the contrast of Bermuda Bay against Daffodil Delight.

Now, who can I send a little sunshine to?

Next amazing Art With Heart team member is Andrea Sargent

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.

SALE-A-Bration is an opportunity to get a little extra in your order, free, courtesy of Stampin' Up! For every $90 ordered, or multiples of $90 you will be asked to choose items from the SAB catty. Some require  a $180 spend if they have a higher value. If you're still not sure how SALE-A-Bration works, ask and I'll try to help you out. These items are available while stock lasts until August 31st.

CTC#373 CASE an Embossing Project

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. Thank you for visiting the blog of Rachel Palmieri in Melbourne, Australia.

The assignment this week is to CASE an embossing project from either current catalogue, and we want you to join in too.

Sending Smiles is a favourite of mine in the catalogue, you can check it out on page 14. Also on that page you can see the card I CASE-d. Minimal changes this time, different orientation, embossing folder and plain stamped labels instead of white heat embossed.

With this embossing technique you ink your embossing folder (the side with Stampin' Up! written on it) with white craft ink. It has been pressed repeatedly onto the ink pad, which is why the result is a bit patchy. Sponging may have produced a more even result? I wanted to use the Designer Tags too, they're very fancy - see them on page 170.

A strip of part-embossed card trims the inside of the card.

A twine bow is a sweet little last-minute addition.

We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE, and let us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.

Colourful Bunch

Sending Smiles is a fun new stamp set which is also bundled with dies. There are so many phrases to team with the die cut 'sending', something for every occasion.

Flowers were stamped in Orchid Oasis, Daffodil Delight and Sweet Sorbet. Aren't they a pretty bunch?

Colour Creations Week 5 Tahitian Tide

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week five of this round of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and the In Color featured this week is Tahitian Tide.

Sending Smiles is such a pretty, joyful little stamp. I used the Tahitian Tide to stamp blossoms all over. Daffodil Delight is the perfect contrast to this bright shade of blue.

There are some very usable banners in the dies which can be ordered in the bundle, if you choose - you'll get a 10% discount that way. A heat embossed sentiment sets off the centre panel, which is decorated with some die cut blooms.

Next you're off to see creation of the clever Kate Morgan
