Our feature colour this week is Basic Gray, a wonderful shade to use in place of black. I'm sure there will be lots of inspiration shared on this blog hop, so make sure you spend the time checking them out.
Originally inspired by a card made with Friends Are Like Seashells, I turned to that stamp set for the sentiment, Doesn't it fit so snugly along the strip around the window?
Picture This dies add a fun window feature, and the cut out pieces make useful labels.
Next stop on the blog hop is Theresa

ReplyDeleteThese colours together are just amazing in my opinion. The grey and those cool blue colours just balance everything out. A beautiful card xox
ReplyDeleteI love that you have used the picture this dies with the sailing home/smooth sailing dies. It reminds me of windows and a sea view.
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome card Rachel. I had just been looking at the Picture This dies and wondering how to use the rectangle shaped one and you have really nailed it. The lighthouse fits perfectly in this scene.
ReplyDeleteLove your card so much Rachel, The die cut outs are just positioned perfect and I love the DSP and it just looks fantastic with the lighthouse and the anchor.
ReplyDeleteLove how you have put this card together. Those 'Picture This' dies made it into my cart this week too. Great colour combo, and the collection of elements bottom right is the perfect balance for your card.

ReplyDeleteRachel I really love how you have used the Picture This dies. At first I thought it was Stitched rectangles instead. A beautifully balanced card
