CTC#373 CASE an Embossing Project

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. Thank you for visiting the blog of Rachel Palmieri in Melbourne, Australia.

The assignment this week is to CASE an embossing project from either current catalogue, and we want you to join in too.

Sending Smiles is a favourite of mine in the catalogue, you can check it out on page 14. Also on that page you can see the card I CASE-d. Minimal changes this time, different orientation, embossing folder and plain stamped labels instead of white heat embossed.

With this embossing technique you ink your embossing folder (the side with Stampin' Up! written on it) with white craft ink. It has been pressed repeatedly onto the ink pad, which is why the result is a bit patchy. Sponging may have produced a more even result? I wanted to use the Designer Tags too, they're very fancy - see them on page 170.

A strip of part-embossed card trims the inside of the card.

A twine bow is a sweet little last-minute addition.

We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE, and let us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.
