Colour Creations #32 - Night of Navy

The participants in AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours alphabetically. This is week #32 and we are sharing Night of Navy.

This week I've stretched myself and tried something outside my comfort zone! There's way more gold on this card than I would normally use, but perhaps it is okay.

Fitting Florets was the main bundle used here, but I do really like Brightest Beauty (retiring soon) background stamp and added a border from the new Decorative Borders, available January 5th, 2023.

CTC#393 CASE A Blending Brush Technique

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. You may have landed here from Monique Fielder in the ACT, and now you are visiting the blog of Rachel Palmieri in Victoria.

Blending brushes are a relatively new addition to our Stampin' Up! range of products, but they do have many uses, and you don't have to be an expert to try them with success. I used the same folder as the technique I am CASE-ing, but sort of reversed.

The middle card in red uses Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder, and white craft ink has been blended over to emphasise the pattern. Instead, I've blended Mint Macaron over card the same colour, but it seems very hard to see in photos.

The sentiment on this card is from Very Best Occasions, a stamp set of sentiments covering everything. It is bundled in the mini catalogue with the Very Best Trio Punch (page 68) which I did not use here. All papers are from Santa's Express DSP.

This embossed piece is Basic White with blending of Mint Macaron, maybe you can see that a little better.

The big, bold sentiment on the left-hand card is from Framed & Festive, available online on 1st November - that's next Tuesday! It's a part of the Fitting Florets promotion, and Framed & Festive, the Fitting Florets DSP and the gold elements are only available while stock lasts, or January 3, whichever is sooner.

We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE letting us know which card or project you've CASE-d.  Your card may inspire someone else which is what crafting friendships are all about, aren't they? No blog required, no special qualifications.

Let's keep hopping around the blogs to next crew member Julia Quinn
