Country-Style Apples

No doubt you've been seeing lots of Fitted Florets stamps, dies and papers shared since they became available on November 1st. It is a lovely suite, and the good news is that the stamps and dies will be around until June 2023 but the papers and the Christmas stamp - Framed & Festive are only while stock lasts or January 3rd, 2023.

Wanting to try a different idea, I pulled Cheerful Basket from my shelf and had a play with a more rustic, country look using a checked paper from the Fitted Florets DSP.

Another paper from Texture Chic SDSP provided a weatherboard look in the matching Evening Evergreen. I really like the look of the diecut apples and leaves on the label which serves a dual purpose, also holding the Easel card up.

I'm looking forward to a fun weekend. I flew to Sydney today to attend a Stampin' Up! managers reception tonight before an all-day conference tomorrow. I love getting together with my stamping pals, and actually will stay a few days longer to have a little break.

CTC#394 CASE A Favourite Stamp Set

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. CASE a favourite? That's a bit of a challenge isn't it? Currently I'm in the thick of creating Christmas cards so I picked Window Wishes from the back of the mini catalogue mixing it up with Framed Florets. The wreath above the window and the leaves are from that bundle.

Framed & Festive is the name of a sentiment only stamp set in the suite which is a "while stocks last" item, as is the designer series paper and gold embellishments. I do love a big, bold sentiment, and stamped mine onto a circle, to allow more space for the window and candles on the sill to show.

You may have noticed CTC will no longer have a weekly winner. We would still love for you to share your projects and we request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. Framed Florets Bundle

Framed Florets and Framed & Festive #1

 The Framed Florets suite is bound to be popular with it's lovely stamps, amazing framed dies and then the bonus of a Christmas sentiment set Framed & Festive and very pretty DSP, which is only available while stock lasts.

I'm sharing a classic Christmas card using the Framed & Festive stamps, DSP and an oval from the centre of the most ornamental frame die. It was left over from another project which I will share on Facebook soon.

Later, I coloured the berries on the same card with Real Red Stampin' Blends to match the Pearlized Enamel paint added to the embellishments.

CTC#393 CASE A Blending Brush Technique

Blending brushes are a relatively new addition to our Stampin' Up! range of products, but they do have many uses, and you don't have to be an expert to try them with success. I used the same folder as the technique I am CASE-ing, but sort of reversed.

The middle card in red uses Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder, and white craft ink has been blended over to emphasise the pattern. Instead, I've blended Mint Macaron over card the same colour, but it seems very hard to see in photos.

The sentiment on this card is from Very Best Occasions, a stamp set of sentiments covering everything. It is bundled in the mini catalogue with the Very Best Trio Punch (page 68) which I did not use here. All papers are from Santa's Express DSP.

This embossed piece is Basic White with blending of Mint Macaron, maybe you can see that a little better.

The big, bold sentiment on the left-hand card is from Framed & Festive, available online on 1st November - that's next Tuesday! It's a part of the Fitting Florets promotion, and Framed & Festive, the Fitting Florets DSP and the gold elements are only available while stock lasts, or January 3, whichever is sooner.
