Etched In Nature

Etched In Nature was the stamp set I received for attending the online conference Stampin' Up! held recently. Knowing that In Good Taste DSP was carrying over (when does that ever happen!) I used a woven sheet for my conference sample.

This piece of paper suggested earthy tones for my collage stamping, and so Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Misty Moonlight were pulled from the shelf. A longtime favourite, Linen thread, also made the cut.

The sprig and butterfly were stamped direct to the art piece, the mushrooms were stamped and fussy cut, before the thread was tied around, and that lovely verse was placed to link everything together.
