Colour Creations - Week #7 - Bubble Bath

For such a long time now, we have been asking for a soft pink and now here is Bubble Bath!

Around the Bend is a lovely bundle with some lovely border dies, flowers leaves and sentiments.

 

Teamed with Masterfully Made DSP most of the work was already done! I love the subtle text in the background of the Bubble Bath paper.

 Staying on theme with the text on the texture embossed folder.

In Color Notecards

 A set of notecards made using the new stand-alone Patchwork Pieces dies and In color DSP with Fresh as a Daisy DSP were another project on my "to do" list this week.

The daisies on the back of the envelope are from Playing in the Rain, while the small single daisy is from Around the Bend.

There is a card in every one of the new In Colors - Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path, Boho Blue and Copper Clay.

Summer

It was an absolute pleasure to make this card for a small girl who became a big sister about 6 weeks ago.

She is such a smart little cookie, I'm not sure if she really does recognise her name or just is really good at guessing!

One sentiment, hooray!It's your day is from the new online stamp & die bundle, Irresistible Blooms. The background is stamped in So Saffron ink (retiring) with Rays of Light. The colours of card used are  Polished Pink, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight & So Saffron. Polished Pink is a retiring InColor.

Just wanted To Say Thanks

 

A delivery hit my doorstep this week which included the new dies Radiating Stitches, currently available in my online store.

Shaded Spruce card was still on my desk from making the last card using that shade and I thought it would look lovely with the gold leaf and a die cut gold foil layer.

Around the Bend was also in that order so a couple of stamps from that lovely. versatile stamp & die bundle were also used.

Painted Textures embossing folder gives the card some random ridges and I apply gold leaf the easiest possible way. Smear Tombow Multi-purpose liquid glue, allow it to dry (overnight in this case) so that it is tacky and then place gold leaf over it. Brush the excess back into the container and you're done.
