CTC #426 CASE Hobbies & Recreation

 

CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who takes the Stampin' Up! catalogue to bed for some light reading. I did this the other night when I was looking for inspiration for something to CASE from the Hobbies & Recreation section.

So many possibilities but I settled on this one on page 93, and then decided to change it to Brewed For You which shares the same pages. What I liked about this layout was the Patchwork Pieces dies for the background, and the use of a circle to 'ground' the elements.

As I went off to sleep, I was thinking I would stamp cardstock to create patterns, but in the morning, I spied the Earthen Elegance DSP on my table, and the decision was made.

The final touch was stamping and heat embossing the sentiment twice so I could cut them into two strips like in the catalogue. Clearly, I didn't have the catalogue in front of me when I placed them on my card, but that doesn't matter one bit!

CTC #423 CASE Colours of Fresh As a Daisy

Why not CASE the colours of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP by including that DSP in the cards? Don't forget that during June, selected DSP including Fresh As A Daisy is 15% off. If you don't think you need a whole pack, share with a friend for twice the fun.

Garden Green came together beautifully with Pebbled Path. The Patchwork Pieces dies look like strips of fabric to me. I included a pack of 2023-2025 In Color DSP amongst the Fresh As A Daisy DSP.

Usually blue is my favourite colour and this mix of Countryside Inn DSP, 2023-2025 In Color DSP &  DSP is very sweet, but I think possibly the Pretty Peacock/ Copper Clay combo wins this round.

Crafting With You is the stamp & die bundle and there are many different crafts included. Just look at the Cut 'n' Emboss machine and sewing machine for starters.

Cards were made in all the new In Colors - that's Moody Mauve, Pebbled Path, Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Boho Blue - and portrait and landscape views. Do you have a favourite?

Patchwork Pieces Dies

 

In Color Notecards

 A set of notecards made using the new stand-alone Patchwork Pieces dies and In color DSP with Fresh as a Daisy DSP were another project on my "to do" list this week.

The daisies on the back of the envelope are from Playing in the Rain, while the small single daisy is from Around the Bend.

There is a card in every one of the new In Colors - Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path, Boho Blue and Copper Clay.
