Because I have been unwell, I totally forgot to add my link to join this hop, but decided to share the new stamp set - Layers of Beauty - using the retiring Sweet Sorbet anyway.
Sweet Sorbet is a lovely, soft red which has been a part of our colour range for almost 2 years. It is a perfect choice for these roses, coloured with a blending brush loaded with Sweet Sorbet ink.
Masks are a simple way to add colour when you aren't so keen on Stampin' Blends or watercolor pencils.
Three masks are used to add colour with a blending brush to the flowers, while the leaves only require 2 masks. I also used the Garden Green blending brush on the background matt.
Happy crafting,
How lovely! Your colouring is so beautiful, and I love how the rays in the die cut piece frame the gorgeous blooms.
ReplyDeleteThe soft Garden Green background sets off the lush roses beautifully, Rachel. Lovely card.
