The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. Thank you for visiting the blog of Rachel Palmieri in Melbourne, Australia.
We're CASE-ing a sketch this week - what great inspiration!
My take on this sketch is a layer, somewhat smaller than the card base, a focal point to the lower right, with a sentiment over. It was easy to put together two variations to share with you this week.
The Fresh Cut Stem Dies arrived at my house on Thursday - I already had the stamp, so didn't take advantage of the 10% saving when buying as a bundle - but you can. The dies are only available in September, while stocks last. More information at the end of post.
This card features the larger flowers, on a subtle stripe from Abigail Rose DSP. Blessings Of Home has this long sentiment with a die cut piece from the Fresh cut stems dies underneath.
We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE letting us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.
oh these cards are both just stunning!! I love your colouring and the extra texture with the die cut under the greeting. And the ribbon. Totally gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are great. I particularly like the flirty flamingo one with the embossed floral background. Great take on the sketch
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are lovely but I really like your embossed background choice as it provides texture without distracting from your focal flowers.
