Colour Creations - Week #20 - Flirty Flamingo



The participants in AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week 20 of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and we are sharing Flirty Flamingo.





Brian King shared this Fancy fold a while back - he called it the Mixed-Up Fun Fold. I've searched for the post but can't find it to be able to link back. Sorry. In many ways, this Fun fold is similar to the one I shared using Evening Evergreen last week.


Last week I finally broke open my packet of Texture Chic 12" x 12" specialty designer series paper, to make some masculine cards. This time I picked the softly feminine Petal Pink, which pairs beautifully with Flirty Flamingo, our feature colour.
 

Mostly the card is neutral, with a pop of Flirty Flamingo in a couple of flowers. Season of Chic stamp set includes images for every season of the year, and these sentiments in a whimsical duo of fonts. You will want to order the bundle for the huge range of dies to co-ordinate and add to the images.



Flirty Flamingo ink was blended over the Crumb Cake stamping on the inside.

    What a wonderful Mixed-Up Fun Fold card, Rachel. It suits the Textures of Chic DSP perfectly. I especially like the way you have decorated the inside of your card too with the soft blending over the stamping.

    Oh Rachel, I love your gorgeous Mixed Up Fun Fold using the Seasons of Chic products. The mixed up fun fold is fun, whether stranding or lying flat. Your colour combo is delightful, as is your layering of DSP, die cuts and stamping. Beautiful. Xxx

    Great fun fold card Rachel, I think the mixed up name suits it perfectly. FF looks lovely on this shabby chic style card and the blending over the Crumb Cake stamping really softens the effect

    Really beautiful use of those papers, Rachel; they are a gorgeous background to the Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink flowers, and other die cuts. Love this.
