The participants in AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week 21 of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and we are sharing Fresh Freesia.
A Fresh Freesia card base with a mat of Highland Heather over, was the starting point. A collage piece using a mask cut from an Adhesive sheet with Split Card Texture die was used to layer some colour onto the background.
The monotone stamping was done with stamps from Quiet Meadow, while sentiments came from Inspired Thoughts. I find this 'sentiment only' stamp set really useful.
Next on the blog hop this week is the fabulous Kathryn Ruddick.
If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.
Rachel, I love the background you have created using the die as a mask and adding all the other elements in too, and i especially like the way you have added the colour to the sentiment inside.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, Rachel; the two purples look lovely together. I really like the collage stamping on your card front, but the colouring of the sentiment inside the card is my standout favourite feature! What a great idea. :)
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty, Rachel. The collage stamping looks wonderful, and I love how you've 'coloured' the sentiment on the inside of the card.
ReplyDeleteA lovely Fresh Freesia card Rachel. I love the blended background using one of the Split card dies together with the layers of stamping - simply beautiful. Xxx
ReplyDeleteThat stencil is fantastic Rachel, and I love that you have paired it with Quiet Meadow stamp set - perfect!
ReplyDeleteLovely card Rachel, using the Split cut die as a stencil really works well.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card Rachel and the 2 purples go very well together. What a fab way to use the Split Textures die. Love the effect.
ReplyDeleteLove how you have added layers with just ink & stamping in this collage style card, Rachel. Fresh Freesia is a gorgeous colour for this technique.
