The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week 12 of this round of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and we are sharing Calypso Coral.
Top of my wish list from the Annual Catalogue was Cottage Rose, well actually the whole Abigail Rose suite, and the Split Card Textures dies. I've paired them here for our Calypso Coral challenge this week, and after using the lattice-style version for a few of these Colour Creations challenges, it's time to let the floral one shine.
Even covered with the art panel, the textured cut out shows a delightful glimpse of Calypso Coral and helps to bring out the colours added to the flower.
The text used on Cottage Rose is an elegant script paired with a straight-forward no-nonsense type, and this one added to the inside is a fave of mine. Aren't these images delicate?
Next on the hop is the amazing Amie
Rachel, the floral Split Card Texture panel die works so well with the Cottage Rose images and I also love the mix of elegant script paired with the no-nonsense type – you've showcased it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Rachel! I like that you off-set the top panel to show off the die-cut - it really balances out the design!
ReplyDeleteStunning colour combination Rachel, your colouring is beautiful
ReplyDeleteThe Abigail Rose suite, along with the Deckled Rectangles Dies, was a must-have for me, too, Rachel. I really love the sentiment, and the Calypso Coral background visible through the die-cut panel, on your card.
ReplyDeleteLove how you have used the split die with the Calypso Coral peeking through. And the cottage rose is nicely coloured with different tones of coral Rachel.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card Rachel. I adore your colouring of the cottage rose - its delightful. The split die works so well showing Calypso Coral beneath too. Xxx
ReplyDeleteStrangely enough I hadnt noticed the Abigail Rose suite and the split dies until recently but I have to say they both go together beautifully on your card Rachel. Your colouring is just lovely too.
ReplyDeleteA very elegant card, Rachel. The split texture die is a lovely backdrop to your deckled panel with that beautifully coloured rose. The fonts of the sentiments is very pretty too!
ReplyDeleteI love what you are doing with these split dies and the calypso coral coming through the cut out is perfect. Love your colouring of the Cottage Rose. I am loving that stamp set at the moment. Beautiful card Rachel!
