Colour Creations Week 6 Balmy Blue

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart from all over Australia. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week six of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and the colour featured this week is Balmy Blue. From now on, we will working our way alphabetically through the colours with Basic Gray next week's colour.

Balmy Blue is one of my favourite colours (because its blue) and I had a little play around with stamping off, and adding layers of colour using shapes from Hello Beautiful on the background.

There is a lot of variety in that particular stamp set, making it equally suitable for men, women or kids. This one has been designated for the girls, with the addition of an image from In The Moment.

A little of the Balmy Blue has been added with a blending brush, to create an almost-monotone creation this week.

Next you'll head to the lovely and talented Sharon Davern

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.

  1. I love the background you created for this card Rachel, I can easily see that with a different main image it could be used for many themes

  2. Your background is fabulous! The layered stamping is awesome, and I love that you've stamped the sentiment over the top. The selective use of Balmy Blue over the main image looks great.

  5. A delightful card Rachel. Love your stamped background using the Hello Beautiful stamped background with the repeated sentiment. The varying tones of Balmy Blue set off the lady looking out to sea. Xxx

  7. Rachel as everyone has said the background you have created for your card is fabulous without detracting from the peacefulness of the In The Moment stamp.
