CTC#348 CASE A Sketch

T
he CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

This sketch is similar to one I frequently use to show both sides of DSP and I decided to use Hand Penned DSP.

The jaunty angle to the paper gives a fun twist. The die cut flowers from the Hand Penned Bundle have been backed with some of the Shimmer Vellum that was sitting forgotten in  amongst other paper.

There are a couple of new upcoming products included - the strip of white card used instead of ribbon has been embossed with a new Gingham embossing folder, and the sentiment is from the Blessings Of Home Bundle.

I bought some Ice Cream Corner designer series paper recently when the Clearance Rack was updated.  It was such a bargain that it was sold out in a few days.

It inspired me to use the sketch with Sweet Ice Cream and the Ice Cream Builder Punch. Punching the pieces from the paper is a very easy way to create these yummy ice creams, the one on the inside of the card has been stamped.

The font on the sentiment is lovely, and I've fussy-cut so that it doesn't cover too much of the image.

We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE, and let us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.

I'm the last participant on the blog hop this week, but if you've begun hopping part way around, keep on going to no. 1 on the list, Julia Quinn, and continue back to your starting point.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share, and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

  1. Great cards Rachel, I think the floral one is my favourite, but then I have a real soft spot for that glimmer vellum :)

  2. Great cards with this layout, Rachel. So many different looks with different embellishments.
