Gorgeous Grape is our colour for week 19, a lovely strong, true purple. Back in the Seventies, when tie-dye was the "thing", purple would have been my colour of choice. In fact my first couch after leaving home was this shade!!! The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart.
Add an off cut of the Spiral Dye to the inside for the finishing touch. Now head over to Michele to see her gorgeous creation.

Your tie-die background looks very funky! Such a groovy background for the lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteWow, this certainly is a party card, Rachel! Such a great colour combination and just perfect for the 70s vibe of this stamp. BTW I would love to see a photo of your purple couch!
ReplyDeleteLovely funky card Rachel, Fresh Freesia looks great with Gorgeous Grape
ReplyDeleteThis is the ideal birthday card for a purple lover, Rachel! Fresh Freesia looks beautiful with Gorgeous Grape, and I think the tie dye background was a great choice for these two shades. I love the sparkle provided by the Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful combination of colours, I love Fresh Freesia with Gorgeous Grape Rachel. Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteThe tones of Fresh Freesia with Gorgeous Grape is a match made in heaven. It is so pretty and the Stitched So Sweetly die is wonderful with the bold white circle sentiment on top.
ReplyDeleteA great card Rachel. I love your colour combo - a beautiful match. I remember the tie die craze of many years ago - tie dying was such fun - and so is the swirl stamp, especially the way reversing the card-stock fills in the swirly gap. Love your layers of labels, die cuts and ribbon. All beautiful. Xxx
ReplyDeletePeace man! It’s like so psychedelic! This really is gorgeous Rachel. Very pretty embellishments and the swirly stamp is quite hypnotising.
ReplyDeleteEye-catching background and the colours are perfect together and pairs nicely with the layers and glittery ribbon. Fabulous card Rachel.
