CTC #307 CASE The SALE-A-Bration Catalogue

Our final time CASE-ing the SALE-A-Bration Catty, and don't forget - SAB ends in a few hours since its only 2 months long in 2021. It will return for July/August but it will be different??? Still waiting to see what that will look like. I do hope you managed to score all the extras you were wanting.

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. We love to inspire you to utilise the inspiration in there too.

These are good cards for any level of crafter. There is minimal stamping, the designer series paper does all the work. Fussy cutting DSP is probably easier than cutting your stamped images, and I also use part images, by tucking them under the label. The avid crafter could add more layers and embellishments than I have.

For the blue card, I've used the SAB paper, Paper Blooms, instead of Flower & Field. These flowers are very easy to fussy cut because the shapes are large and bold. The Rococo Rose flower is the only complete flower used - the others all came from the edges of the paper and have bits missing. All hidden behind the label and other flowers, so all good.

I couldn't resist trying the same formula with the new Butterfly Bijou DSP, it will be available to order on March 2nd, along with the Butterfly Brilliance stamp & Brilliant Wings dies. The paper is just a quick promotion, and its so pretty. The blotchy pink under the label is the reverse of the piece I cut butterflies from, and there are a few of the watercolour reverse papers included.

The stamp and dies are being offered from March 2nd, with the promise that they are in the new Annual catalogue. Probably a good idea to take a look at what is already on offer with Butterflies, because I think at least one stamp will be culled from the range.

Happy Thoughts stamp set on page 28 of the January-June Mini was co-designed by Jackie Bolhuis for her Million Dollar Career sales, and consists of only sentiments. I like to have these in my collection, especially those with a longer sentiment which can be used on the front of the card, as I did here, or just as happily on the inside.

With CASE-ing the SAB catalogue, you can pick from anywhere, be inspired by anything, but make sure you share on our Facebook Challenge page.
